About this deal

The separation and image are also pretty good, and the soundstage, although not huge is more than adequate. Carefully chosen colours have been combined to make the E10 not only a feast for the ears but the eyes as well. Choose from four vibrant variations to suit your style.

I have used- Sony e115 and mdr xb55ap , JBL T110, Sennheiser cx180 and Cx 2.00, Beyerdynamic Byron👌 The most important part of the SoundMagic E10C hardware is the remote. It looks a familiar cylinder of aluminium, with the usual three buttons. However, it’s the first remote of its type I’ve used to offer full cross-platform support, working with iPhones and Android phones alike. Another great pair of SoundMagic budget earphones, the E11C in-ears continue the fine work of their predecessors and deliver an entertaining, upfront sound, complete with a remote control and mic. And we can’t argue with that.Regardless, the SoundMagic E10C continue in this vein. However, I do quite like the use of metal earpieces. While they won’t stop the cable connection from deteriorating if not looked after, they’re far more likely to survive being trodden on than a cheap plastic earpiece.

I can recall the cables on the E10 feeling a bit fragile as well as having a very light build. The E11C has improved prominently on these two areas. It also has a nice color scheme and a sturdy build on the cable making the E11C look way more premium than the E10. Both the cable and molding feel strong and it doesn’t get tangled easily. The SoundMagic E50 shed most of the low frequency emphasis, giving them a more balanced, grown-up sound that I find more satisfying. However, if bonus bass is what you’re after then the SoundMagic E10C pull off this sound signature better than the rival Sennheiser CX3.00. Should you buy the SoundMagic E10C?

I later plugged the E11C to my Macbook and it actually sounds great out of it, with more body/ texture in the mids compared to phones and a more dynamic performance. There is also more air andan improved soundstage as there seems to be less roll-off on the treble. I can really recommend the Soundmagic E10 if one's looking for a natural, dynamic, non-fatiguing sound signature. They provide honest, effortless reproduction of audio material. The E10 are definitely worth their money, and then some."

This isn’t the first time SoundMagic has aimed for a higher-end sounding budget earphone. The SoundMagic E50 were based on the same concept. However the SoundMagic E11C offer the best combo yet of surprising refinement for the price and the kind of bass power and excitement most of us want. SoundMAGIC's award winning earphones get better and better with each revision. Now fitted with an anti-tangle twisted-pair high-fidelity audio cable, E10 is the perfect earphone for everyday use. Remaining incredible value for money, the E10 keeps on winning high praise from listeners worldwide. I’ve never been a huge fan of the SoundMagic E10 design. The coloured L/R earpiece parts; the “go faster” style stripes – they’re just not to my taste. They are no minor tweak. The SoundMagic E11C may look familiar, but the sound is radically different to the E10’s. Some of the relaxed smoothness has gone, but much better dynamics and mid-range definition make these earphones a clear league ahead of their predecessors.Disclaimer: The soundMAGIC E11C was sent to us a sample in exchange for our honest opinion. We thank soundMAGIC& Hifiheadphones.co.uk for this opportunity. On a first sight, E11C looks similar to E10C; for my taste, E11C is a bit “classier”, although this is personal. Nonetheless, the quality of E11C is at least as good as, and to my opinion a little higher, than that of E10C. It is a robust construction that is made to last, which goes along with the philosophy of SoundMAGIC products. The aluminium housing, the microphone and the cable are all of top quality and seem very solid, something you don’t expect from earphones at this price range. My sample was in what SoundMAGIC calls “gunmetal”, which is of a very nice color. One thing that deserves a special mention is the cable of E11C, which is new and of better quality than that of E10C. Initially, it might give you the impression that it is also anti-tangling, but it is not; however, it looks, feels and it actually is better.
