Do you like dressing up for Halloween? Love the ocean? You’ve come to the right place. Read on for an assortment of costume ideas for scuba divers – including DIY Halloween costumes for kids and adults. Show your diver pride! Be a scuba diver for Halloween I had a ton of people asking how to take my children’s scuba diver outfit and make it into a Scuba Steve costume from the movie Big Daddy ( got to love a little Adam Sandler family friendly movie). Use a pair of wide-vision goggles for kids, or a children’s swim mask ( some come with a snorkel). Older kids can wear a scuba diver helmet. Weights (optional) Create a drawing of a diving gauge and tape onto the bottom side of the plastic containers. Optionally add a circle of craft foam to the front of the regulator. Completely wrap the container with electric tape. Using a hold punch, create a hole in the sides of the containers big enough to fit the plastic tubing. Slide the tubing into the hole and secure in place with electrical tape. If your tubing is clear like ours, wrap with electrical tape. It’s time to make your little scuba flippers! I used two sheets of crafting foam in the peach and green colors.You could also use chalkboard paintand then write your child’s name on each pail with chalk. DIY SCUBA DIVER FISHING NET
