About this deal

Discreet mode refers to those times when you’re listening to music, a podcast etc, and you don’t need a boom microphone. Simply raise it up, and it stows out of your way, and out of sight, hence the references to discreet.

The Jabra Evolve2 75 USB UC Bluetooth Headset is the new standard for Hybrid workers, offering wireless Bluetooth connectivity to PC / Mac and Smartphones and is certified for UC (Google Meet and Zoom). Featuring Jabra’s Active Noise Cancellation technology you can choose from 11 ANC levels to perfectly suit your working environment whilst its fully rechargeable battery provides up to 36 hours battery life and fully charges in just over two hours. For users short on time, a fast charge of 15 minutes provides up to 6 hours battery life. ANC is a handy feature that allows the headset wearer to regulate how much of the room noise is heard. Whether you’re contending with the sounds of babies crying, dogs barking or coworkers talking, ANC allows you to have control over what you hear. One major reason I like the Evolve2 75 better than the 85 is the lighter weight with on-ear design. The ear cushions use a new dual-foam technology that make them comfortable to wear for many hours straight. The ear cushion design also impacts the noise isolation and ANC performance. The Jabra Evolve2 75 has been enhanced by the use of a new, powerful digital chipset. In fact there are three onboard chipsets that help to power and control the various features of this new wireless headset.

Studies have shown that distractive room noise is a leading cause of reduced worker productivity. With that in mind, it makes a lot of sense to have a tool that gives you some control over it. ANC is a tool designed for this job. Essentially, it electronically produces counter measures against detected incoming sound. Most wireless headsets are just that, wireless. In other words, they can only be used as a wireless headset. However, one of the changes that’s taken place recently is wireless headsets that can also be used as a wired headset.

Based on the fit, finish and features, I’d say that this headset is priced very reasonably given everything it offers. Final thoughts The new Jabra Evolve2 75 is rated to give you up to 100 feet (30 meters) of wireless talk/listen range. This is pretty standard for many Bluetooth devices. You will find new models that have a range that’s limited to 33 feet, so by comparison, I guess you could say that at 100 feet, the Evolve2 75 is on the upper end of Bluetooth range. How heavy is this new headset? Soft memory foam molds to your ears’ natural contours, for incredible all-day comfort. Superior noise isolating design. For a long time, the Jabra Evolve 75 has been a fan favorite, and for a lot of very good reasons. The Evolve 75 is feature rich, comfortable, and has that professional sound you’ve come to expect from a Jabra headset.

This is a very practical feature that allows the headset owner to continue using the headset even when recharging. Though a few makes and models of wireless headsets have this ability, it’s more uncommon than common. Nice to see this was an included feature on the Jabra Evolve2 75. Sound - how good does it sound, and how good is it at reducing noise? Unlike in the past where headsets came with a single microphone, the headsets of today are upping that by incorporating multiple microphones that are designed to provide better audio quality. And I’d say they’re doing a good job at it. computers, mobile phones and tablets for example, that are Bluetooth enabled. The Evolve2 75 uses Bluetooth 5.2, which at this time is the latest version. Though you have the option of connecting the Evolve2 75 to a computer that’s Bluetooth enabled, it’s a better option to connect to it via the USB adapter. You’ll get a more steady, reliable connection, and you’ll get longer wireless range too. You may find the audio quality to be better as well. I was waiting for the introduction of the Evolve2 75 with great anticipation. I was curious to know what kind of updates it would come with. To say that I’ve been impressed would be putting it lightly. This is a major overhaul from the former Evolve 75 not only in appearance, but in performance and technology.

New busylight is now four times more visible, protecting you from all directions and all interruptions. 1 Outstanding battery life. Just when you thought Jabra had introduced enough new headsets, they threw another one into the mix to put smiles on our faces. The last thing you want is it to be heavy which can easily lead to pain and discomfort, but headaches as well. The lighter the better, and considering everything that’s gone into this headset, I’d say Jabra did a good job to keep the weight down. More on comfort The Jabra Evolve2 75 uses 8 strategically placed microphones, 4 of which are used when Active Noise Cancellation is on. The Jabra Sound Plus app is available for iOS and Android devices. The smartphone app has many similar settings as the Jabra Direct app with a few other options, including using the earcup microphone for calls rather than the boom arm mic. While on the subject of connectivity, the Evolve2 75 can pair up to 8 devices, and up to 2 simultaneously. This is nice because it remembers the devices on your list, and when paired to two of them, it switches seamlessly between them. Updated & enhanced chipset The Jabra Evolve2 75 has a feature called HearThrough. This feature allows you to have a conversation with someone in your work environment, or just hear what’s going on around you without the need to remove the headset.
