How part 1 felt for me is mainly the reason this isn’t getting 5 stars because i feel like that’s my first impression and it’s like one of those things where when i was in school, people always told me to go with the first answer when i was taking an exam 😂 so I’m applying that same theory here LMAO Now she’s forced to live a life she never wanted. Rhys and Bridget’s complicated feelings for each get even more tangled in the web of royal duties. take bridgets princess title away and that girl would be the blandest heroine ever, even cardboard has more personality than her.

The four books in the twisted series are connected as Ava, Bridget, Jules and Stella are best-friends, making their lives connected. However, each book has it’s own twisted couple and storyline which you can read as a standalone. How Many Books Are There In The Twisted Series? Bridget is my favorite from the friend group I think. And I definitely liked this book wayyyy more than i liked the first one, twisted love. Seeing Ava and Alex again, happy and together, was also so pleasing to read about and seeing the other characters as well was so endearing! It pains me, because enemies to lovers is my most fav trope, and Ana had a good momentum brewing with them at the beginning of their story. The scene at the bar? Chefs' kiss. But that momentum came crashing down because Ana Huang didn't know how to keep building it up. The chemistry evaporated into thin air.)The way the forbidden love trope was mixed with the bodyguard x princess trope made it even better!!! The vibes and settings in this book were absolutely immaculate!! From gorgeous Costa Rica to a stunning castle ugh I LOVE IT!!! I honestly need more books like that with that sort of setting, it’s just so… romantic!!! Bridget von Ascheberg. A princess with a stubborn streak that matches his own and a hidden fire that reduces his rules to ash. Romance Tropes: brother’s best friend, grumpy x sunshine, interracial romance and forced proximity. Believe it or not, this book also had some strong points. It was fast-paced, it was enjoyable, it was addicting, and it was a huge improvement compared to Twisted Love. I found myself rooting for the protagonists, gasping at the plot twist etc. It definitely motivated me to continue reading this series in hopes of finding an installment that I like the most.

Jules and Stella are desperately in need of an apartment so when they show up at The Mirage, a luxury building that’s way out of their budget, Christian decides to lower rent for them.
