About this deal

Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Averted hardcore with what physically happens to Miss Yoo, but ultimately played with, as part of what Ken teaches Miss Yoo is that no one can defile another human being, and therefore she should never consider herself as defiled/tarnished.

There is comedy in the manga as well, its used frequently in the beginning as well as in between main arcs. It will usually come in the form of one panel of some sillyness or fanservice (which is also over the top but by no means does it dominate the whole manga), or an entire chapter about Don Huang's Sushi Adventure. Never really got on my nerves in the slightest which may be an indicator that it flows well with the dramatic moments. Not out of place and random basically. The women however, only appear is two varieties: Yumin clones and childlike Kae-Lyn clones that give you pedophile vibes. Neither is very well drawn with strange poses and weird proportions/anatomy. They are often drawn in the same poses with no body variety at all. There is also no shading in their faces to show any difference between the characters' features (whereas the male characters have this). Heroic Sacrifice: Tae-Soo makes himself the bait to find Ban-Phoung's hideout. Thankfully he makes it.It's basically so incredibly sexist that the escapism value disappears completely. There is no dignity for any female character in this story. None at all. Not even through the art quality.

Even at the supposed emotional climax of the story, it still feels as if you hardly know or care about the characters at all. Good All Along: Ban-Phoung had always admired Ken and was trying to protect him from the White Dragon Clan.

Boichi was also the artist of Raqiya written by Yajima Masao and published by Kodansha from 2008 to 2010 as well as for the TerraforMARS Asimov spin-off of 2016 published by Shueisha. Similarly, he was the artist of the oneshots Brutality by Takeda Yuusuke in 2007 and Eques by Kengo Miyatani in 2012. Aina The End Releases New Single 'Diana,' Studio Live Performance Video Featuring Anime Theme Songs Also Released The first one being the art, this is probably the best drawn manga i have ever read, there is so much detail and it looks so realistic. You can clearly see the author put a lot of effort and did a lot of research regarding locations and fighting movements, in fact at the end of some chapters you get additional information on how they drew a specific scene. The fights are incredible well drawn and are very engaging, the shots of Seoul are incredible well done hell even the food is drawn with an incredible amount of detail. In several ocasions I have found myself hungry because of that. a magnet, he has an almost supernatural aura of main character righteousness that he seemingly indoctrinates people into good morale by beating the shit out of them. Rather than this being deus ex however, its a plot device that is observed by other characters in the story. It also doesn't hurt that Ken is an extremely likeable character. He does not always win, and he does not always lose, he is not arrogant, but he respects himself and his gang and will beat the shit out of other gangs that challenge its pride of the street. As time goes on and his gang becomes more and more of an influence in Korea, Ken's character starts to change rather drastically as well. It's cool to read is the bottom line here.

Food Porn: The author can go on complete tangents describing in incredible detail the food that the characters eat during the story. Describing the preparation of the ingredients, carefully detailing how it's all cooked while detailing how the various sauces and juices add to the taste and texture of the dish, finishing off by describing the delicious taste of the meal...

Subverted when the White Dragon Clan hitwomen are involved. Ken is forced to fight them the first time, and they're all gruesomely killed. Overall, this is a fun manga, but far from a masterpiece. whether you will enjoy it or not is a matter of perspective. if you want some cool stuff and not overthinking things like I used to do, not complicating, just enjoy this manga, then I recommend it.

in Japanese). Shōnen Gahosha. Archived from the original on July 19, 2023 . Retrieved July 18, 2023. A special little addition i feel that should be mentioned is Boichi's inclusion of how hard he has worked on the manga. He talks about his travels to take lots of different pictures to use as references. I feel that it is a great touch as it gives us, the readers, insight as to how a mangaka goes about working on their art. It's a real treat to see the pictures he takes and comparing them to what he draws. A wonderful aspect of the manga that most certainly should not be over looked. I may be harsh but it's hard to enjoy something when its main purpose entails creating different scenarios in which to draw women being abused sexually is as many ways possible, annnd good 'ol brawl. Especially when you're only there for one of the two (hint: it's the last one), and that one is executed poorly. Don't read it because - The shallow story, nonexistent character development, shitty female characters (also sometimes badly drawn), annoying amount of ecchi, sexism, anticlimax, boring fights and repetitiveness.
