About this deal

He's friendly, popular with his peers, and is even engaged to the hospital director's daughter, Eva. At Eisler Memorial Hospital, there is a young and brilliant doctor by the name of Kenzo Tenma who is living the high life. This comes to light when Tenma is confronted by a widow of a woman who lost her husband after Tenma was moved away from his surgery to work on someone famous. Tenma is the third son in a family of doctors, who left Japan years ago to work under his idol in a hospital in Dusseldorf, Germany. almost silly (Herr Director wants fame and fortune and could give a rat's ass about the common folk and his snotty daughter espouses the "Some lives are worth more than others" philosophy while Tenma represents the school of thought that hospitals are there to help patients and all patients' lives are equal) but then lines begin to shift.

As soon as the killer aspect kicked in, I forgot all about that and started to enjoy quite a thrilling ride of mind games, unexpected twists, traps and turns. Leroy Douresseaux of Comic Book Bin, praised Monster 's finale and wrote that the manga is "worth reading again and again. When I stopped expecting a realistic gritty crime-noir drama (which is what I initially and wrongfully expected from it), I started to enjoy the book for what it is — a really entertaining and well-crafted pulpy action/thriller. Just be warned that it really is just a taster on the tip of the tongue and you will be left feeling hard done by because you want to know what happens next. An English dub of Monster was produced by Salami Studios for Viz Media, which had the North American license to the anime.INTERVIEW: All You Need is a White Piece of Paper and Pen: A Conversation with Monster and 20th Century Boys Creator Naoki Urasawa". Monster was Urasawa's first work to receive international acclaim and success; the manga has sold over 20 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. S. Edition of International Material – Japan (2007 and 2009) and three times in Best Continuing Series (2007, 2008, 2009). But there's no way he could have known that his decision to stop chasing professional success and instead concentrate on his oath to save peoples' lives would result in the birth of an abomination. Urasawa has a gripping, clever crime thriller to tell, and you're going to want to be with it every step of the way.

Secondly, once the story gets past the hospital-centric intro, the characterisation really improves, and Urasawa stops dwelling on this caricaturish conflict between an evil employer and a good employee. The reason is, Junkers was witnessed near the scene of the three murders that occurred around Germany. Esto hace que acabe perdiendo un poco el interés en la resolución de la trama principal, pero importa poco.I thought this deserved some kind of review even though i've only seen the first few episodes of the anime on YouTube. The fate of each character hangs in the balance as they grapple with the darkness that resides within human nature. It ultimately comes to a head when Tenma is confronted with a similar situation, where has to work on a mayor who promised the hospital a lot of money instead of a young boy with a bullet in his head who came in first. When faced with a critical decision, Tenma saves the life of a young boy named Johan Liebert, setting in motion a chain of events that leads him into a dark and twisted world. If romance isn’t your bag, there’s plenty of escape reading as well—sci-fi, a Naruto gag manga, a crazy conclusion to the saga of Master Keaton, and an all-in-one omnibus edition of Death Note.
