The story explores Teresa’s new life as she navigates her own ambitions and career, but also juggles her romantic entanglement with Ruben, a carefree man who’s attitude towards life directly opposes hers. I swear to God, Teresea only makes faces that are equivalent to the 0_0 emoji, but the rest of the art makes up for it.

Par ailleurs, je ne me suis pas attachée aux personnages et leur histoire d'amour m'a un peu laissée de glace. The muted color palleted and movement lines appropriately engage the written story, and I’d say if this was replaced by a different art style I may not have enjoyed the reading experience as much.The ending kind of threw me though, I sort of expected something different I guess, or maybe a bit more tension.

Overall, a very enjoyable read in which my only critiques are that some connections felt like they were included a little more as asides than subtly interwoven threads - especially the namesake plant which felt thrown in at the end of the story versus having been woven into the text earlier.b GDPR, we will pass on your data to a commissioned collection company if our payment claim has not been settled despite a previous reminder. The beginning gave me a very Before Trilogy vibe, following a stranger impulsively and exploring an unknown city with them.

The other story has an Italian woman named Teresa getting the opportunity of a lifetime to help an exhibition in Berlin of the Tutankhamen’s treasures in 2001. The second, set at the turn of the 21st century, concerns twenty-year-old Teresa Guerrero, an Italian university student come to Berlin on a grant to work as scientific assistant at the state university’s installation of a Tutankhamen exhibit.
