FB is very unique with the compositions of the perfumes and I think there are not many that would be considered "easy crowd pleasers". The incensey-styrax-honey-iris combo i guess *could* smell sorta kinda like oud, but there is no oud in the notes. Challenging and abrasive, it's one that will certainly divide opinion as it's a pretty unusual scent and not one you'd wear everyday.

Strongly intellectual, the fragrance has a dense, chewy core that evolves through twists and turns over the course of the whole day. But it's prized apart by a strong note of iris that beautifully introduces the idea of something living, growing and dripping with dew.

Wow, the opening of Dark Side instantly reminds me of the plum and cacao on Czarnecki Shihan EDP, and feels equally delightful on the skin, except that it blooms into a beautifully powdery, full bodied experience. Wonderful scent which combines sleepy-lidded heavy oriental honey and vanilla with the dark resins of Serge Noire, which it reminds me of. As it wanes into the later stages, the "freshness" that's so exciting at the beginning subsides, becoming more powdery and incensy. I found it overall very good and blended beautifully, but personally I was not able to grasp its true character, nor to be captivated by it to the point of surrendering to its evocative power.I'm really only posting my experience with this one because it seems to be so different from what others are describing this one to be.
