Hi Friends, today I want to share how I designed my “Deluxe Bunny Condominiums” by modifying Midwest Critter Nation cages to fit the needs of bunnies. Instead of using the cages in that way, I covered the openings and created cages that were larger horizontally, as I talk about in the previous section. And Tabatha had a heart attack at an also very young age when the neighbors stupid Rottweiler got loose and found her in the outside hutch.

These are going to make my life a lot easier when it comes to cleaning and giving them the room they need. While either is fine, I'd say probably say having four levels would be unnecessary (and very difficult to heat). To me, increasing the horizontal square footage was the most important change I needed to make to the Critter Nation cages.

But since the CN just snaps together, leaving off the fourth side would create a cage that is structurally compromised; your pets could escape if it comes apart.
