Have smelled it some times but I dont have it, so I cant do a full review, but I noticed that this is a super ambered scent that actually gives me headache, I like how it smells but I don't feel that is something great.

I haven't smelled the original Invictus but I feel Invictus Intense is a more mature fragrance than the original.As the others of the line, it is a compliment getter, people enjoy it, girls like it, and it is not cloying and annoying like the original one ( I don't find the original annoying but in the long run people could be a bit overwhelmed by it, especially in closer encounters ), so it fits for many different occasions. This fragrance will be a big complimenter getter and it'll be so refreshing to smell something new on a man than Paco Rabanne One Million or Chanel Blue. I think over the years I've gotten more of a like for this version, because when it was first released I liked it less, and now it's harder to get. You won't get additional longevity - original was already 8+ hours - or additional oomph from the notes.

This is made for the guy who wears Invictus in the warmer weather but wanted something similar for colder weather. There is a new boozy note of Whisky (or malt) that you can perceive between the opening and the heart. Have both the original invictus and the intense ,I wear the original for the day and then intense for at night ,love this version for its salty amber ,whilst the original gives a fresh take on the amber whilst keeping it sweet ! Give it a little time to develop, linger throughout the day on your skin and then really decide if you dislike or like it. The fragrance feels animalic, light white floral, heavy, imposing, citrusy (because of the orange blossom with a bitter grapefruit-like touch), intense, marine, masculine, musky, playful, rare, rich, salty, sweet, versatile, and pleasant.But where those fragrances are usually mixed with leather and amber, Invictus Intense has a sea / fruity vibe. The opening is strange, as if they mixed things that shouldn't be mixed together, like if the ingredients don't really mix well together, but after a couple of minutes things start to go in the proper direction.

I think that is accurate, but i part ways with the notion that this smells almost exactly identical to Invictus. I pick up the whiskey notes in this and i feel its those notes, as well as "salty amber", which i also pick up, that make this fragrance more dense. Under no circumstances will we ever replicate, duplicate or copy any brand logo or trademarks nor infringe on intellectual property rights of these companies. To my nose, the "bubblegum" note isn't there as with the original which made the scent seem juvenile in a way.
