When Bert was smaller, we tried Sainsburys and Tesco's own brand nappies, but found them all to be less absorbent and more likely to leak than the Pampers, so we decided to stick with the branded nappies that seemed to work better for us.
The wetness indicator was particularly helpful in the first couple of weeks when my child wasn’t taking a lot of milk and the nappies weren’t as full. This made me wonder if I could use the nappy overnight for my eldest, who is largely dry at night but occasionally wets. We decided to just start her on one flavour to begin with, and once she’s used to eating food, rather than just milk, we will try her with some other flavours. They need to make sure the powder has all the nutrients in but it is still easy to mix a bottle within a short time space. After the introduction of food, my little girl became increasingly fussy over her follow-on formula and it felt it was a waste of money, with her only drinking minimal amounts.
