About this deal

I was hoping to bring these to a family as a “Meal train” meal where I could make them and they could eat them at a later time. Huge plug here for fresh-cut deli meat since that is one of the biggest components in these sliders.

We’d each get our own little bowls to put au jus in and dip every tiny little section of our sandwiches. The next day, I brushed the leftover ham sliders with the butter/au jus mixture and my family said the ham sliders were phenomenal. I love French Dips and I also love the ham sandwich version of these floating around, so when I saw this recipe I just knew I had to try them. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms.I needed something easy to make after the cheese fondue appetizer and before the chocolate fondue for dessert. I’ve mentioned many times how much I love high-quality cheese, so of course that is what I use here. I made a few extra since I had all the ingredients and my 9×13 would accommodate them and I am so glad I did! I would never have thought to just use the whole package at once and pour that yummy topping all over it!

I might make this recipe again but I would try a different roll – something non-sweet like a ciabatta or french roll. I also put my roast beef slices into my aju for 3 min on simmer then shook dry before putting on bread and into oven…game changer!A few changes that I made:used much less butter, did not include the seasoning salt at all, and made a horseradish cream sauce to put on the side. Hello- in your experience do you think I could get away with pre-assembling everything, minus the butter mixture, and freezing until ready to bake? I am hoping to share a link on a new blog I am working on, I want everyone to know where to find them. I would recommend using 1/4 stick butter and using a brush to apply the butter to the top of the buns. I found the slider recipe on Pinterest and am so happy I followed the link to your page and printed it! Now, I am making them for my annual Holiday Potluck at work and I know they’ll get the same “lip smackin” reception. Also, since it’s getting baked, you want to aim for a rare cut of roast beef so it will be still tender, moist, and flavorful after being cooked (and reach about medium+).I didn’t butter the pan in the beginning, and I mixed the bit of leftover butter mixture into the au jus before boiling.

My husband even forbid my kids to eat the leftovers because he wanted to have them for lunch tomorrow. I have never liked to cook Kay don’t have much experience, but I decided to make these last night for our New Year’s Eve party! Ideally the recipe is written so the sauce is being created while sliders are baking (so it doesn’t cool too much by the time sandwiches are ready), but you certainly can make it before baking if that is your preference.Totally optional — if you love them– add them, if you aren’t sure,– add them to a few sliders, and if you hate them — they won’t be missed.
