When I smell it up close it gives a little bit of polen and green stems with fresh roses, but whiffs of it give the smell of elderflower. I would say the lychee is not as noticeable in this one, compared to other rose and lychee perfumes, though. Each fragrance is utterly feminine and comfortable to wear, so you can feel great every time you spritz. it really has a soft, demure, warm, sensual scent to it that makes everyone want to get their hands on them! Her liquid lipstick smudged under her chin and she almost slips on the tile, letting out a dainty little "oh!I like it on other people though, and sometimes I reach for it when I want to feel like Blaire Waldorf. Soapy in the way that roses are, I'm not the biggest fan of light roses as sometimes they tend to smell too mature but It wasn't until I decided to finish a bottle I had lurking around that I fell in love with it, once it dries and warms up on your skin the most stunning mouth-watering litchi sweetens the concoction.

Every detail of these Chloe perfumes is perfection, from the elegantly feminine and iconic bottle design to the sweet scents inside. The scent takes the classic rose and ingeniously translates it into a vibrant perfume for women, intimate and sensual. The top notes of fresh litchi, peony and freesia add an air of sophistication while the floral heart of rose, magnolia and lily-of-the-valley expertly plays against the seductive base consisting of warm amber and dark Virginia cedar. I'm not usually big on such floral scents (this seriously smells like a bouqet), but this one is very pretty!This Chloe has been around for awhile and it has be worn by everyone and their mother, but that doesn't make it any less noteworthy. Just beware of perfume snobs who smell like L'eau d'Oud of Silver Tibetan Unicorn Butts, they may not like it. The drydowns both prominently feature a tea note, but Body EDP is a sweeter honey and tea, and Chloe EDP is a rosy tea (tea rose) although it gets sweeter the longer it's on the skin. Or simply if you own too many complex fragrances and you feel you need to take some days, or a few weeks off, to detox your sense of smell… but you still want to wear something. No, but really, this is an aggressively clean, soapy rose-like scent that is great for extremely hot days (like we have here in Southern California).It is the second perfume with rose in it and I just know for sure it is not for me in any way shape or form and I would do best if I avoid it altogether, but I can see why it would be great for somebody else. I will say it's a tad bit strong for me and almost leans into headache territory (and in terms of personality it's definitely not a very "me" scent), but it's pretty enough that I'll be keeping my sample. The bottle is gorgeous, and the ingredients should have also made for a soft very wearable fragrance, but this blend gives me an instant headache to the point of stomach turning.
