We go to great lengths to bring you the brands we know you love and we've been happily doing this since the very beginning of our journey. If you need the perfect accessories, you can choose between various ink colours and suitable standard converters. Please note that we cannot add notes to 'leave in the shed' 'Leave in porch' as it's our responsibility to get item into your hands.

The fountain pen is available in the nib sizes fine (F) and medium (M) and comes with a stylish packaging. It might be dependant on using a clear converter, but the ink saturation in the clear section and feed, plus a partially full converter does make for an attractive proposition, at least with the turquoise ink it is presently filled with. With their classic designs and exemplary performance, Kaweco pens perfectly combine tradition and innovation. All four have the triangular shaped sections with the Lamy being the most pronounced, and as a result thinnest to hold. To me, the nib looks small, disproportionately so — even though it’s slightly larger than the unit on the AL Sport. The low weight and optimised grip section support the hand posture and allow for long, fatigue-proof writing fun. Visually, the octagonal cap and the 16-sided barrel harmonise perfectly with each other, as the surfaces at the different angles create a unique play of light and shadow. It is not quite as aggressive as on a Lamy Safari/Al-Star or Pelikan Pelikano, however if you do not get on with these pens then this Kaweco might not be for you.

The light can shine through the translucent plastic and is reflected by various angles and edges of the fountain pen. The next pen would be an EF nib no matter which one, it would be mostly for writing, with blue ink (Oxford Blue the love of my life), because I want to use my lamy mostly for art, since the nib is quite broad and I like that when drawing, also wanna put some fun color on it. The Perkeo collection by Kaweco features beautiful and sleek fountain pens available in four original colours and two nib sizes, fine and medium. I don't quite understand why any pen manufacturer would fit their product in such a way to limit their audience, but there you go.

This Kaweco Collection edition is a powerful red, which moves along the spectrum from pink to orange, depending on how you view it. In Kaweco's historical records, the PERKEO model can be found as early as 1900, in the form of an eye- dropper, in a catalogue of the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik (dip pen factory). I went for the fine nib as was worried the medium might be a little too heavy/thick for my handwriting style. I have a pair of these which perform well and are comfortable although I have mixed feelings about the look. I must confess that I had experimented, in swapping the caps around to pair a black barrel with a black cap, but you still end up with a coloured band in the centre. They're all fun and attractive color combos, and it's incredibly fun to mix-and-match the bodies, sections, and caps. They are octagon shaped and a bit wider than the Sport caps--so the Kaweco clips will not fit on these pens. Kaweco has updated their old 1900s dip pen design into a new entry-level, full-size fountain pen--and I'm quite smitten with it. The one problem for me is for some reason it reminds me of the crystal BIC ballpoints and while the appearance has grown on me, my first reactions were not so positive.
