it said it could be a number of things when it flashes, some of the syptoms that i have noticed as well are the car doesnt ahve much power, 1st gear is useless and even in 2nd,3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th the turbo is just lacking in power not sure if this is due to the car going into limp mode? Its really important that during a regen you get the revs up and get the engine load up (the ideal thing for dpf regen would be a hill climb for example). Which is very close to what MB were as king with labour all in so could be tempted to go with MB direct. Although the engine management records faults for quite a few things, with some there is a number of cycles that if completed successfully clear the fault. We had the problem this weekend when we were on a long journey and stopped (in a lay-by) to feed the (screaming) baby.
