About this deal

There are so many amazing Bullet Journal supplies, but you really don’t need them all to start doodling. Let’s now give our diary a little more detail. Draw a rectangle on the cover, then inside the rectangle write the word DIARY. Then below that, doodle some wavy lines. These wavy lines will represent unreadable text. 🙂 You can, of course, play around with your cover and create your own design. Feel free to be a little creative. 🙂 Also, there are plenty of doodle promptsonline to help anyone create art… yes, even if you aren’t creative. But, because the digital bullet journal is… digital… you can just keep going in one note if you so choose. You have a synced version of it with you wherever you go

And a random—but seemingly important related note—since I started writing this post I decided to go case-free because I am trying to de-plasticize my house to reduce my exposure to metabolism-disrupting chemicals. I plan on sewing a felt slip-cover case soon. But if you’re not plastic-averse, the case above was a great option. Remember that time you wrote down an important fact about grass-fed beef and then you needed to find it again? Space for free doodling is hugely important for children. The benefits of doodling are vast, from relieving tension and developing emotional intelligence through to helping us retain information. Circle maker. I’m not a huge fan of using rulers at all, but when it comes to circles – you can’t really do it without one. My go-to is this Helix circle maker. These give a child space and the tools to identify, articulate and write about how they feel, reflect on what to remember about their day as well as sections for self-care and gratitude. The Doodle uses weather symbols to describe feelings - easy and relatable language for children of even a young age to use.But let’s be honest – if you’re here, you’re probably also a bit obsessed with stationery and investing in your Bullet Journal supplies. So here are some pens I think you might consider working on your doodles. We believe the key to The Positive Doodle Diary is for a child to explore and use it at their own pace. The Doodle isn’t homework and shouldn’t be about pressure. You can also re-size things… so if you draw something really huge and want to shrink it, just draw your shape and then use the diagonal handles to re-size it.

These sessions can be a lovely springboard for chats and discussions about feelings and emotions. It all helps facilitate a conversation around looking after ourselves as a unit - something that really makes our hearts sing! Remove pens from the Favorites bar by selecting the pen from the Favorites bar, then choose Remove. Paperlike screen protector: This makes the writing experience easier, in my opinion, by adding the right amount of friction. Here’s my review.

Place that color palette image into your document. In Notability, hit the plus icon and select Photo Library. Let’s now draw some tabs so that we can stay a little more organized. Use three small rectangle shapes for this purpose. And draw the tabs outside the right margin of your diary. Then on the very bottom, let’s put a bookmark using a W shape. Before an event or interaction that is making you nervous or upset. (Like a job interview or when you have to deal with a situation you don’t like). Learn to see everything in basic shapes. This is a skill that will take some time, but once you master it – there will be nothing you can’t doodle! My tip is to start doing a lot of step-by-step tutorials like this one; it will train you to see the simple shapes each doodle is created from.

Simply sign up in the form below, and once you confirm your subscription, you’ll get all the details.Protective case without a cover flap: I recommend one without a cover flap so you can access your digital bullet journal without having the extra friction of opening and closing a cover. Sure, you can just use a folio cover (I loooove the Apple keyboard folio for the bigger iPads) and just keep it open, but I’ve found that this clear cover is perfectly minimal for my use case. Apple Pencil: If you have any of the iPads listed above, definitely get the Generation 2 Apple Pencil. It automatically charges and attaches to the side of your iPad, which if you’ve used the 1st generation Pencil, you’ll know how much of a game-changer this is. Plus double-tap to change your tool 🥳 These are great for 2 reasons. We’re huge fans of mindful colouring and the positive effects it can bring. But the biggest value are the affirmations themselves. We know from experience that a gentle, positive mindset can be hard to sustain. Giving ourselves little pep talks throughout the day really does make a difference to how we feel about ourselves and the situations we find ourselves in, but if we don’t have a reminder, it’s easy to forget and slip into negativity. These affirmations are perfect as gentle reminders through their days and weeks. Duplicate: Duplicates it right next to the original, which is nice when you’re drawing multiples of things. Daily positive affirmations for mindful colouring along with related exercises for self-care and positivity.
