Description

He includes two hand-held, non-firing blasters which can be combined to form a larger double-barreled weapon. The larger gun or the combined mode can be piloted by a Titan Master. Each weapon has multiple pegs which can be mounted on the wing struts, wing tips, knees, or shoulder slots. Sentinel himself can be piloted from a translucent yellow cabin between his rear stabilizers. Sentinel was also part of a crowd that waited at the finish line of a race between Optimus, Bumblebee, and Megatron. He cheered for Bumblebee as he finished the race, though it turned out Optimus had already won the competition. The Big Race Known designers: Eric Siebenaler (Hasbro), Hisashi Yuki (TakaraTomy), Andrew Scribner (deco artist), Emiliano Santalucia (concept artist) Walmart had exclusive retailer rights to use Sentinel Prime in their signage and marketing as part of their "Power of the Primes" campaign. [10]

But his Ark merely crashed somewhere near Earth in 1962, a fragment of it landing in Fiesole, Italy. When a human discovered it in 2011, Starscream and Soundwave tried to prevent the Autobots from getting that fragment and finding their way to the lost Ark. The Autobots finding Sentinel was not an option for Starscream and the concept unnerved him... Apparently, the fragment had the power to make martyrs of the good and bad alike. Fight for Fiesole Mega-MouthJust before the outbreak of the Great War, Sentinel Prime and his inner retinue conducted a goodwill tour of Cybertron's various colony worlds aboard the Titan Lodestar, unaware of mounting political tensions on Cybertron between Senator Orion Pax's Autobots and Megatron's Ascenticons. The World In Your Eyes Part Three With Sentinel Prime offworld, Orion opted to take command of the Senate in between filling in for Sentinel's other duties, such as welcoming newly forged Transformers like Gauge into the world, The World In Your Eyes Part Four while instructing Ironhide to keep Sentinel Prime informed. The World In Your Eyes Part Three In a few instances throughout the third season of the Generation 1 animated series, the Constructicon Long Haul appears in the U-Haul Robot's color scheme. Guess AKOM got their "Hauls" mixed up!

Though more of a coincidence, the tab on Sentinel's left forearm can attach with the rectangular hole behind the Mechtech Leader Class' shield. Sentinel Prime was in the audience of a tag battle pitting Optimus Prime and Bumblebee against Megatron and Starscream. Last Bot Standing He was in the audience of a dance competition too. Bot Stars In this mode, Sentinel has four more 5mm MechTech ports: one each on either shoulder and one each on either forearm. If that's still not enough, the screw holes under his wrists can accommodate 5mm weapons as well, for a total of eight weapons beyond those included with the figure. The Primax Blade and Shield can both be held via their respective handles in either of Sentinel's articulated hands; the shield can also be plugged into the MechTech port in Sentinel's forearms. While (possibly) unintended, one of his sword’s blades can be popped off to simulate the Primax blade’s one-sided form seen in the movie. Sentinel Prime was rescued from the Moon by Optimus, but then turned all evil and stuff. Take Us Through the Movies The chest is actually slanted down at an angle versus the rest of his body. This is a deliberate design choice and makes it really weird as Sentinel is looking up if you pose him standing straight.Sentinel actually looks pretty decent. But where's his shield? Blitzwing is disappointing. The chest is fake, the alt mode is inaccurate… urgh… Like, was a fake chest really necessary? Long ago, Sentinel Prime was the leader of the Autobots before Optimus Prime during the war on Cybertron. But as the conflict dragged on, with no end in sight, Sentinel found himself forced to make a drastic choice: a secret alliance with Megatron. Believing that it was only through the sacrifice of another world that Cybertron could be restored, Sentinel developed teleportational space bridge technology to transport resources across interstellar distances—but, knowing that Optimus would never condone his course of action, Sentinel kept his plans a secret, claiming the bridge was a means of transporting troops into battle. Sentinel's intention was to depart for the chosen planet— Earth—and meet Megatron there later, but during the battle that erupted around the departure of Sentinel's ship the Ark, the vessel was damaged and sent spiralling off into the depths of space, presumed lost forever. The war was left to continue with none save Megatron aware of Sentinel's treachery. I would like to take this opportunity to one again point out just how well-done and accurate the sculpted detail on these Studio Series molds can be. You can really tell they are leaps and bounds above the concept art-originated figures of the earlier films' toylines. Of course, it's not always accompanied by the proper paint applications to bring it truly to life, but it's still there if the owner so desires to do that themselves.

Reach past the big screen and build the ultimate Transformers collection with Studio Series figures (each sold separately), inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe. The five movies are the primary component of the live-action movie continuity family. Their events should be taken as canon for all other pieces of fiction listed below, unless otherwise specified. Revenge of the Fallen film Head articulation is really, really bad. The head in the picture with Sentinel doing the Iron Man pose is popped off its ball joint. Sentinel's 2007 IDW design was based on his first (and otherwise only prior) appearance in the 1988 Marvel comics panel shown above. The resemblance is a little more obvious in Spotlight: Optimus Prime than it is in his more stylized appearance in Megatron Origin, but his yellow-red-and-orange armor, crested helm, and the row of three small "windows" on his chest are all derived from his Marvel look. IDW's Sentinel is also very heavily armed, not unlike the description of the character given by the Hardwired novel.Unfortunately, due to being used for transformation, the port for the collector display stand on his two-piece rear waist tends to be misaligned, and the hole is not shallow enough to fully secure its connection. Sentinel Prime hails from an older time when Cybertron was the galaxy's crown jewel and the Transformer race was full of promise and potential. The only known remaining Prime, he personified what a leader should be: wise, compassionate, and a more than worthy warrior. Revered by both Autobot and Decepticon, few would dare stand against his shield and Primax Blade.

I remember my body. Flabby, pasty-skinned, riddled with phlebitis. A good Republican body. God, how I loved it. Sentinel was a direct descendant of Primus, the first Cybertronian, and one of the last surviving Primes. With a firm but just hand, he ruled the Autobots before the war. During the war, he named Optimus his successor before departing on a mission into deep space, only for his ship to be shot down by enemy fire... That said, I'm still happy with what I got. At the time it was a new thing that kinda worked and for anything released afterward I just didn't really care enough to delve into it. Perhaps others feel the quality or function is not worth it so it's alright to not want it. Millions of years later, during the war on Earth, the Matrix used a vision of Sentinel Prime to strengthen Optimus Prime's resolve during a battle with Megatron by confronting him with the claim that Megatron had chosen Optimus to be Prime, knowing that he was weak. Megatron's alleged influence over the Prime selection process was never substantiated. Soon after, the Keepers created a robotic duplicate of Sentinel Prime to confuse Optimus and undermine his confidence. Though possessing all of Sentinel Prime's considerable abilities, Optimus eventually realized that the duplicate had been created from his own memories of Sentinel Prime, and was incapable of doing anything new. Optimus destroyed the duplicate of Sentinel Prime, having largely overcome his own doubts about his fitness to be Autobot leader. Hardwired In the Battle of Chicago scene from Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Sentinel Prime battles his protégé to ensure the survival of Cybertron.

This mold was also made into Titans Return Astrotrain and served as the model for Omega Sentinel in the Primus Vanguard.
