Postava Russa je krásne vykreslená (Russ je neskutočné zlatíčko - muffin), a to, čo ma najviac zaujalo, je, že autorka ide nad rámec bežného romantického príbehu.

This book does not contain any Ice hockey at all, and it definitely felt different from icebreaker however it was still a really good fun read. From the author of TikTok sensation Icebreaker comes a deliciously swoonworthy romance following two summer camp counsellors who reconnect after a sizzling one-night stand. This resulted in me taking a pause at around 34%, trying to comprehend why I was struggling and began dealing with all the notions I had about the way the characters, their past, and their struggles were written. This book was great and had a great story line with alot of emotion in it and can easily relate to the characters life and their challenges they face.Imagine their surprise when they bump into each other on their first day as summer camp counsellors, hoping to escape their complicated home lives for the summer break.

While it didn’t take away from the experience, reading the books as the series intends would possibly add to the joy. However, both Rory and Russ don’t know that they’ve each signed up to be a camp counselor for the summer at Honey Acres. This pair are champions at miscommunication which is a trope I don’t really like, however it was not over the top and it didn’t bother me at all.The more complex of the two, Aurora was a young woman striving to find herself, to feel good about herself and maybe find the person she can do all that with… be all that with. His pain and struggles were easier to understand and relate to and he’s likely to steal a reader’s heart from the very beginning. Some books are little more complex, requiring the reader to take multiple breaks in between…demanding introspection and thought.

Because of said background, I unfortunately found it hard to suspend my disbelief regarding the kids' sleeping/cabin situation. Nothing happened with him, and the Xander connection /slash/ reveal later on could be seen from the moment Russ and Xander had their first conversation in their cabin. Given their history, there’s still an obvious tension between the two but the camp has a strict “no staff fraternizing” rule. Hannah Grace is an English self-labeled “fluffy comfort book” author, writing predominantly new adult and contemporary romance from her home in Manchester, England.

We started off the book seeing everyone that we met in Icebreaker which was lovely, I always love seeing how people are doing throughout a series. After reading and devouring Icebreaker earlier in the year, I was not so patiently waiting for Russ’ story and my oh my, did I fall in love with this gorgeous guy!
