Something that bothered me a lot is that didn’t have one single conversation (till the end of the book) where they actually could talk without become sexual or start a sex encounter. The whole trilogy was filled with secrets, lies and deceit with so many twists and turns that I never saw coming. In this book, we get a lot of flashback scenes, showing us how Elsa and Aiden met years before in such horrible conditions and circumstances. When the Chalice that is the mind shatters, a Jeweled Blood will slip into the Twisted Kingdom, trying to desperately to fix the shattered remains. The freezing floor sends icy bursts through my entire body, but I don’t have the energy to stand up.
