I like the author Adrian Edmondson and if I liked the sound of the next story I would love to read another of his books. I thought the activities at the end of the novel were a great addition for teachers and parents looking to extend the novel. She also travels back in time to discover a cupboard full of her mummy's old photos in her dad's office. At the end of the day, Tilly slips away from school and when she gets home again, she checks in the house and in the shed for her dad. I think that Adrian Edmonson is a very inspiring author and makes young people want to be an author.This would be a good read-aloud choice for ages 6-8, and a good chapter book for independent readers around 7-9. The illustrations are also great, adding another layer of humour to the story and enhance the story telling. Following him through time, Tilly ends up at key moments in world history (Trafalgar, the 1966 World Cup final) and an important moment of her own personal family history. There was quite a lot of history in the book because she travelled back in time and every time she pressed GO it took her to a new place that her dad had typed in to the computer.
