About this deal

Scuttlebugs (originally phrased Scuttle Bugs) [1] are round striped spiders that act as semi-recurring enemies in the Super Mario franchise. Scuttlebugs are mainly seen walking around (much like the Goombas) until Mario or Yoshi approaches, at which point, they charge directly at the hero. After the duration, the shrine will vanish and Rift Scuttler will respawn at her location after her respawn timer has elapsed. They also appear in World 8-4, where they ceaselessly drop down from the top of the stage in pairs of two.

The Rift Scuttler is unique amongst all monsters for two reasons: she will not retaliate against an attacker, instead attempting to flee directly away from them; and two, she continually moves along a fixed path in the river on the part of the map where she spawns.

this time with a new look, they now have purple stripes, larger fangs, and a pair of gloves for legs as well. They first appear in Super Mario 64, and have often taken the role of the common spiders found throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. Fitted with lean to steer technology this three wheeled scooter provides stability and is completed with non-scratch wheels. The Scuttlebugs can also change their position on their strings to avoid hammer and ground attacks, similar to that of Piders and Arantulas from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Experience reduced to 115 − 207 (based on monster's level) from 115 − 230 (based on monster's level).
