As for microphone quality, with the GSP 300 headset plugged into the GSX 300 sound card, the audio doesn’t sound so good at default. While I don’t use a Mac for reviews (sorry, Hipsters), I can vouch for the easy plug-and-play experience with Windows; I plugged in the unit and 20 seconds later, I was revelling in the sound. Moving on to the GSX 300, and this thing requires almost 100% volume to drive this headset properly. The GSX 300 is the only one that has any software included, because GSX 1000 has all the controls on the app actual unit, while the Fulla 3 is completely driverless. When we compare the on-board audio and the amplifier, the amplifier gave the headset a significant bump in audio levels. The G6 is almost 115 bucks cheaper then the GSX1000 and the G6 seems to have alot more juice and no problem powering high Ohm set of cans.
As mentioned above in the Specs and Sound sections, performance will largely hinge on the peripherals you use.
