When we have beautiful produce, well grown and correctly sourced, we use them in our recipes in the simplest way to bring out their natural favour and beauty. On May 20th 2021, Francesco and Gael Boglione (the founders of Petersham Nurseries) will release their new book. Top with little dollops of creme fraiche and then, using a Microplane or fine grater, grate on as much or as little of the horseradish as you like. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Petersham Nurseries book without shining a light on treats from the famous Teahouse, like the delightful spiced honey cake and a luscious chocolate and almond number (the perfect elegant dinner party pudding). Now, as the Boglione family sets out on a new venture with the opening of Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden, they reflect on their story so far, and share some of their inspirations and favourite recipes in this delightful book.

Dine within our greenhouses, brimming with fragrant bougainvillea and jasmine, surrounded by tree ferns. This is an upmarket plant nurseries, which also has great cafes / food / cake which you can enjoy among flowers and leaves. Sitting in the glasshouse surrounded by trees and other greenery has to be experienced as no words can fully express the delightful and completely different type of dining to other restaurants .In the ensuing 20 years since their adventure began, the couple’s four children have also become closely involved in the family business, with Lara, the eldest daughter, stepping up as Managing Director in 2011.
