About this deal

The NZXT H9 Flow is marketed as a cool-running chassis and it certainly handles hot components without breaking a sweat. The "Flow" variant puts a focus on providing as much air flow as possible using perforated panels in areas where glass is not used.

NZXT also includes some screws, cable ties, and other accessories to make the building process less stressful. Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital (UK) PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Aside from just the general lack of airflow that comes with lots of glass, particularly in the Elite model, there's a lot to like about the H9's design. The four DC fans included are pretty good too, even though they have rifle bearings and thus won't last as long as more expensive aftermarket options (or even those offered by NZXT itself with its AIO CPU coolers). There are even three straps along the top of the motherboard area for routing header and PSU power cables. MSI Suprim 4090 Liquid with its 240mm rad on the side, as intake, with an extra fan to take over the additional fan slot. Even though there are plenty of holes inside the NZXT H9 Flow for airflow, the company didn't sacrifice too much on acoustics. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX was able to run as designed without a problem, clocking in at an average junction temperature of 79C and an overall temperature of 63C.

Just remember, you'll have to bring your own lighting to show off your components in the dark because the H9 Flow doesn't come with any lighting of its own. There are numerous cutouts on the motherboard tray to allow for easy cable routing from top to bottom. That magnetic swing-out SSD door also hides a massive cable-routing channel, with over three inches of depth and six big Velcro straps on both the rear of the motherboard area and a side panel near the front. NZXT installed a small plastic cover to the right of it to prevent too much air from pushing through behind the motherboard tray. NZXT specializes in the mid-tower and small form factor PC case segments and the new NZXT H9 Flow is one of the company's mid-tower dual-chamber cases with a focus on airflow. But if you've spent any time on PC-adjacent social media or game streaming sites in the last year, you've no doubt seen it hundreds of times, if not more. This dual-chamber design has been used by a few case makers, including Lian Li and Hyte, and now we're starting to see more fan-friendly versions pop up.

inches of clearance for the CPU cooler and over 17 inches for the GPU, most core components should fit with room to spare. But the Elite sports three F Series RGB Duo fans (which feature RGB on each side) on the right side, in front of the motherboard, and one F Series Quiet Airflow fan at the rear exhaust. NZXT does include its usual best-in-class cable management routes, which we highly recommend are used.
