The mid 60s Mods chose skinny slacks with loud plaid, check or stripe prints, or went all black for beatnik style. These ads show what 1970s men’s pants and bell bottom trousers looked like, their various colors and materials. The tapered leg pants continued from the 1950s, flattening out, slimming down and raising the crotch upwards as the decade moved along.
