About this deal

Smallest Transforming Transformers Thrust The Smallest line, issued in Japan in 2003, featured a reduced-scale version of the original Generation 1 Seeker mold. Robot Heroes Skywarp Another super-adorable figurine of Starscream, this time launching himself into the air. A redeco of the newer Masterpiece MP-11 Starscream mold, Skywarp features some extensive retooling to wind the Masterpiece Seeker design back into the more Generation 1-accurate look, with most of the robot mode being newly tooled parts, including chunkier legs that now incorporate his tail-fins, retooled shoulders and wingtips that no longer curve into one another, a new head (with collapsible head fins), new heel spurs that flip out for added support in robot mode, and re-engineered Machine Guns attached to extending armatures that mean they no longer have to be removed for transformation. The Decepticons had begun to rely on the Rainmakers too much, though, as Pyra Magna had snipers on the roof of Termagax's house, prepared for their approach. Some years later, the term "Skyraider" was officially resurrected to describe the jet warriors in the BotCon 2009 set " Wings of Honor" (based on the Energon Starscream mold).

However, with the lack of resources, poor morale and Starscream's weak leadership, the Decepticons largely collapsed into anarchy and resorted to cannibalism with not enough energon to go around. Due to the figure's hollow waist and the nature of its conversion, the Earthrise Seeker mold's planned waist articulation was scrapped. A piece of art by Guido Guidi in Dreamwave's 2004 The Ultimate Guide features a green Seeker, who is sometimes identified by fans as Acid Storm, though the color layout doesn't particularly match. Each figure comes with a cannon, two Null-Ray blasters evocative of the Generation 1 Seeker design, and a cardboard backdrop display depicting a war-torn Cybertron as it appears at the beginning of the film. He features a fold out front landing gear, 5 mm-compatible hands, and back/roof, and has 3 mm-compatible upper arm ports. The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece Starscream figure was imported directly from Japan in its original packaging with Japanese-language instructions, featuring authentic Takara Tomy design and deco. In the aftermath of this betrayal, many of the surviving Seekers from Vos joined the Autobots, becoming the Aerialbots. Skywarp is armed with a pair of missile launchers that mount on his arms in robot mode, and under his wings in jet mode, with a pair of specialized projectiles for each.

As a redeco of the MP-11 release, Acid Storm is likely to be plagued with the same quality control issues. A mostly black and grey mock-up of Generation 2 Starscream was also seen from the same source as the Sandstorm mock-up. Being a rather heavy shellformer, he can be separated into both a wingless robot mode and a nearly complete tetrajet easily, via a friction hinge.Ask Vector Prime would refer to Aurex Seekers, and Armada Volume 5 labeled Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp as "the Seeker family". Following the restoration of Cybertron, Acid Storm and Spinister attempted to ambush a group of Autobots who were exploring the changes to their world.

The Kreon was also given the slight retooling to the arm seen in the 2014 Kreons, making the "cuff" parts more sharp-cornered and better adapted to being used as studs. While he was still panicking, Shrapnel used the base defenses to blow the Autobot out of the sky, causing pieces of it to fall on them in the process. Itami Prime uses the generic Seeker design, but his unique characterization as an Autobot Town Commander prevents his membership from being definitive.A Coneheads mold was also available, issued as Ramjet and chase figure Dirge, and retooled as Thrust. Soon afterward, the Dreamwave Generation One comic series introduced an army of similarly colored Seeker drones. Acid Storm met back up with Galvatron's forces on the submerged Nemesis and was deployed to defend the ship from Optimus Prime and Soundwave's combined forces. The green jet in this grouping was made into the Universe Acid Storm character, whose name was initially supposed to be "Rainmaker", then "Acid Rain".

He is a redeco of the Masterpiece MP-3 Starscream mold in black, gray, silver, and purple, though the purple and silver are more minimal than usual. Skywarp was only available as part of a two-pack with Ultra Magnus exclusive to Target in the United States. Unusually, the retooled version of the mold was initially released as Thundercracker before being later redecoed as Starscream and Skywarp. At Megatron's command, the Seekers attacked their former commander and took to the air to shoot him down.Unfortunately, this gimmick suffers from a rather nasty design flaw: there is simply not enough clearance under the car for the wheels to be able to pass and hinge through, and attempting to do so will result in the plastic reinforcement struts underneath deforming the rims and chipping the tires. Part of the first wave of "Battle Upgrade" Hero Mashers toys, Skywarp is represented as a spare forearm that is included with Megatron, but does not appear in the line as a complete figure. Titanium Series War Within Skywarp is a redeco of Thundercracker, transforming into a Cybertronian "tetrajet" as reimagined by Don Figueroa.
