Como lo dije antes, el libro lo compré porque me llamó la atención el título, era viejo, estaba en oferta y una vocecita interior me decía "compra ese libro. I really enjoyed it and wasn't left hanging as you are with a lot of these themed books so a 4/5 for me. I also liked the island setting where this game of cat and mouse unfolds in fact this book worked better as a psychological thriller for me and I think it could have done with loosing a lot of the supernatural psychic mumbo jumbo. I’m fascinated by the way that authors deal with technology, especially when they’re writing about it in its infancy.

But when the visions start up again, he finds that he can't easily ignore what they are telling him.

He seemed to be ruminating over all the injustices that life had inflicted upon him when he gets attacked by a several dog sized rats.The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. Accompanied by Ferris, Harris goes to the canal described by the student and sights a group of giant rats. Expect harsh and no-holds-barred violence and /or repellent horror and gore when it gets the chance. But because I was ensnared with the way Herbert wrote and unfolded the tale as a perfectly paced thriller and for the most part, kept the overindulgence to a minimum.
