About this deal

This may not be a popular opinion but I found the drawing skills in the animation department to be generally higher than the drawing skills in the illustration department. If the Gwelf ever did defeat Chuck, then the Dig-Its would establish it as a member of the Dig-It parliament. Since the lockdown, I don’t really see anybody but I do stay in pretty close contact with my editor Stephanie Dror through e-mail, or texting, or phone chats. At CDR, we curate and share exquisite artworks on a daily basis, providing a constant source of inspiration and creative fuel for our passionate community. The survival guide will tell you what to expect, what equipment to pack, who to trust and hire as a guide, and where to rest for the night in this magical land steeped in history and mystery.

The paintings and sketches throughout are all amazing, presenting a warm, cosy, incredibly charming world in a magical place not too far away (it's within visiting distance, as this is a travel guide!Larry MacDougall entered the commercial art world approximately thirty years ago and has been very busy ever since. If you find yourself in Gwelf may I suggest you stay away from the section titled “Here Be Ugly Nasty Things”.

I would love to read of the adventures the creatures that visit Gwelf, or about the hostilities between the Sparrowkind and the Ravenkind. Character Design References (CDR) is an online platform that celebrates and showcases exceptional character-focused art within the realms of animation, illustration, games, and comics. In the UnHyperverse, the Gwelf is a creature that lurks around in people's gardens and steals all of their vegetables and DINNER. If you had to recommend only one art book (a comic book, graphic novel, children book, ‘‘how to’’ book) to a fellow artist, what would it be and why?Absolutely gorgeous book, with a neat history and culture presented through the form of a travel guide. I have learned over the years to use gouache to paint over problems and I’ve learned to lift out mistakes with a wet brush.

Of course, this meant that I missed the second Kickstarter, which I’m begining to slightly regret because this book is so cool! However, there is a lot to be said for working with a team, and the few times I’ve done it have been very rewarding. They wanted for it to conquer gardens and farms by stealing vegetables and other sorts of food, so that the Dig-Its could add to their assemblage of materials. Have you always been supported in your artistic path or has it been challenging to let your family and friends understand your choice?Explore, create, and be inspired as we embark on a journey filled with limitless artistic possibilities. Parts of it definitely sounded like propaganda but it made it more realistic as it is meant to be written by the leaders/tourism department of the town. Which is why I am a bit sad I missed the second Kickstarter – it’s supposed to be a bit more personal compared to this one! I started to think about doing Gwelf a few years ago when it became obvious to me that I needed my own project. I stopped doing that about page 80 of this book because I realized I was writing the Cliff Notes to this book.
