As it does represent a flower that’s ready to bloom: springtime would be the time to start wearing this lovely perfume. Designed as a contemporary version of the powdery floral bouquet perfume, Bloom is an extremely strong scent that should be applied sparingly. Overtly floral, the scent conveys a deeper sense of femininity in the woodier, sensual blend with Ginger and Rose in the top notes, and a soft, enigmatic finish in base notes of Patchouli, Musks and Osmanthus. Am I the only one that immediately goes to the perfumes after I have been through security at an airport? Opinions are divided on the fragrance's longevity: while some users find it fades too quickly, others describe it as long-lasting.

In the top note, which is perceived immediately after application, the perfume starts with the powerful aroma of Indian tuberoses. Created by perfumer Alberto Moriilas, it is dominated by a single fragrance, tuberose, flanked by hints of jasmine and Rangoon creeper. With Bloom, the Italian fashion label Gucci introduces a harmonious, floral fragrance aimed at women of all ages. The freshness in the perfume makes it a great scent for the summertime when the temperatures are rising.

For the final chapter of the first women’s portfolio of fragrances by Alessandro Michele, the original Gucci Bloom essence is deepened in sensuality and intensity. We all need a bit of love during the dark winter months, and I feel a warmer scent would be more suitable for this one. It is an Eau de Parfum, which differs from an eau de toilette by the higher concentration of fragrances. It is a heavier scent (even though it fades during the day), so if you are looking for a subtle perfume: this may not be the best choice. This flower starts blooming when it’s white, then slowly turns pink until it darkens to a red color.

Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori explores the mysterious and intimate character of a woman, her authenticity, confidence and unconventionality.Gucci Bloom Eau de Parfum is an intense but balanced composition of different flowers such as jasmine and tuberose. The natural tuberose is harvested from India, and the jasmine ensures you’re not overflowing with sweetness. Gucci said it is supposed to smell like a field of flowers ready to bloom, and I fully agree with that statement.

If you did fall in love with the scent just like I did (and I am not always a fan of the heavy scents), it helps to spray it onto your hair or your scarf. Authenticity is woven through qualitative, highly-concentrated natural ingredients in this perfume for women.This latter ingredient, also known as Chinese honeysuckle, is being used in a modern fragrance for the very first time. In addition, this perfume is available in another packaging where the white part of the bottle is also covered in flowers. Bloom is a modern Eau de Parfum for style-conscious women of all ages and comes in different-sized bottles. The floral, slightly sensual bouquet is suitable for any occasion and can also be worn in everyday life because of its unobtrusiveness. It does not beat my absolute favorite, Giorgio Armani Si and Lancome La Vie Est Belle, but it holds an excellent third place.
