Of her inspiration for this book, she tells of a teacher she once had "who was extremely fierce and angry .In addition to reading other versions of these stories, it would also be possible to use this book as a starting point for exploring other graphic books. The artist also found pleasure in creating CHARLES DICKENS AND FRIENDS, which presents five retellings of classic Dickens tales. The illustrations and dialogue within the illustrations was funny and definitely made it more interesting to me.
