Hi Karine, Berries that have been dried (and are raisin-like) can be rehydrated in hot water, but freeze dried berries can be reconstituted by simply soaking them in room temperature water until they have plumped and softened. Rather than relying on a time, bake the blueberry cookies until slightly golden brown around the edges and the middle of the cookie has set.Just remember to take out the other fruit trays as they don’t need the same number of hours for freeze drying. I’ve yet to make any of your recipes that weren’t exquisite – and maybe someday I’ll even conquer marshmallows. You can even find it packaged as apple/pear/strawberry chips and marketed as a healthier alternative to potato chips.
Freeze dried blueberries maintained their nutritional benefits, so they are still super healthy and tasty.
