Hello, I have just purchased this kettle, and as much as I do like the design and looks, I’m confused as to why the kettle ‘wobbles’ when it is on the base. The matt finish is fine and the design is good but it looks so plasticky (apologies - appreciate this isn't a word but the best way I can describe). Is this normal, as it does not seems secure as other kettles, can anyone tell me if theirs is also un-secure/wobbles please.Alessi’s designs are gorgeous with modern art style influences, perfect for your modern contemporary home. The sound created by the notes was similar to the one of the siren of the steamboats that sailed the waters of the Rhine: a memory from Richard Sapper's childhood, as sweet and pleasant as the sound he wanted for his kettle.
