About this deal

When talking about films there is an expectation created by using the word 'twist', and even in the act of typing it an expectation is created. Yet Night Drive isn't just about expectations, spurning winding roads for the suburban and motorway emptiness of Los Angeles. Director Vysakh, known for his mass entertainers, like Pokkiriraja and Pulimurugan, gives us a more toned down movie this time around. Just short of two hours, it is the right duration for an edge-of-seat thriller that never lags. Writer Abhilash Pillai has a crisp, neat storytelling style, while filling the plot with twists and suspense, and Vysakh’s treatment makes it feel like a fresh political suspense thriller, where an innocent couple are made scapegoats of the smuggling scam. Singer, songwriter, novelist, and painter Kathryn Williams is proud to announce her new album ‘Night Drives’. The collection explores a more filmic sound, with a larger ensemble of instrumentation, particular emphasis on the strings and production from Ed Harcourt. It’s out on July 15 th.

And while the movie seems like a pretty straightforward trip from Point A to Point B, the story takes quite the detour in act three, which completely changes the entire film. The twist comes up suddenly and very unexpectedly, and most of all, knowing the ending makes any rewatch of the film take a really different route. With some fun travel companions, driving tension, and an enjoyable u-turn into the realm of sci-fi, NIGHT DRIVE takes the viewer on an unexpected road trip, which will hopefully make this film a new option for holiday horror. Throughout Night Drives, Kathryn is joined by a host of collaborators, including Kirsty Logan, Oystein Greni, Romeo Stoddart, Matt Deighton, Simon Edwards, Yvette Williams, Neill Maccoll, Andy Bruce, Ida Wenoe, Joel Sarakula, Emily Barker and John Alder. There's also reward in detail. Not just the structure of the central case but tell-tale ginger ale. Shot before, set in 2018, release seems to have been delayed but it does not suffer from it. Its action is sufficiently dependent upon time and space that a bit of dislocation does it good. A sequence in a hardware store perhaps overextends on the reaction shots but still works. I am really proud of this record. Also really scared of putting it out into the world after such a long time” she continues, “I can say that because it’s not just down to me. It’s because of the musical family I have around me that keeps me safe, makes me better, is there for the times when I think I can’t go on. It’s about realising that by sharing things creatively, they can be better and it’s not about showing people how great you are. It’s about making the songs the best they can be and trusting people with that. I’ve been on OLI records since 2010. In that time, they have put out 8 albums as well as the anthology box set. Their belief in me and ongoing support has been nothing short of a miracle. They’ve happily allowed me to do side projects, collaborations, write novels, teach. They’ve encouraged me to make my art and include it on releases. Having the label, Ed Harcourt and the other artists who I work with believe in me has helped me believe in myself and want to be what they think I am.”Ranjin Raj is the music director of the film. The film has only a single song titled "Paathi Paathi Parayathe" sung by Kapil Kapilan and Nithya Maammen. Murukan Kattakada is the lyricist of the song. [1] Release and reception [ edit ] It’s not possible to drive yourself around the park at night and because the vehicle you’re in is the only one on the road, you’ll come across an unusual array of animals which have settled, undisturbed, in the middle of the road.

Departure times vary throughout the year and depend on the when the sun sets. Night drives depart when it’s dark and last for 2-3 hours. Roshan Mathew-Anna Ben thriller Night Drive release date announced". Cinema Express. 21 February 2022 . Retrieved 4 April 2023.Meanwhile, a senior politician (Siddique) is set to be searched and questioned by the NIA in a gold smuggling case the next day. How are the two stories linked and who is the accident victim holding the two threads together forms the rest of the thriller. What you actually see depends on the vegetation in the particular part of the park that you’re in and what crosses your path at the time. Singer, songwriter, novelist, and painter Kathryn Williams is proud to announce her new album ‘Night Drives’. Perhaps it was the deviation from standard structure that inspired Williams next two pieces of work, both of which feel outside of the traditional form she had crafted for herself over the previous decade or so. 2016 saw the release of Resonator, a beautiful collaboration with Anthony Kerr (1995’s Young Jazz Musician of the Year), which found Kathryn “trying, voicing, and breathing new life into world famous beauties.” Watch for animals, especially in rural areas. Animals crossing the road can be especially dangerous at night. It can be very difficult to see animals ahead of you on poorly-lit roads when driving at high speeds and crashes involving large animals like deer can be deadly or cause major damage (for the driver, animal, and car). Stay vigilant when you're in places where deer or other animals are likely to cross the road (like rural areas). Pay attention to any animal crossing signs posted near the road and lower your speed appropriately. Additionally, be aware that most deer-related accidents occur in the late fall and early winter (though they can happen year-round). The film was first scheduled to be released in March 2021 but was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The film was theatrically released on 11 March 2022. [2] If you see an animal ahead of you, the smartest move is usually not to swerve. While it may be your first instinct, swerving is actually the leading cause of injuries and fatalities from deer-related accidents. Instead, lower your speed as much as you can by pressing the brakes and allow your car to hit the animal.

Roshan Mathew, Anna Ben, and Indrajith Sukumaran to star in Vysakh's Night Drive". The Times of India. On one such drive our way was barred by sets of eyes. As we got closer the owners of the eyes were revealed to us – a family of hyenas!

Slow down. As a general rule, night driving requires slower speeds than daytime driving. Because visibility is much lower at nighttime than during the day (even on well-lit urban roads), it takes longer to see and react to traffic hazards, pedestrians, and other obstacles. Since you can't control the types of hazards you'll encounter on your drive but you can control your driving, your smartest move is simply to drive slower, giving yourself more time to react to any problems you come across. You'll never want to "out-drive" your headlights — that is, to drive so fast that you can't stop within the distance illuminated by your headlights in front of you. [3] X Expert Source Ibrahim OnerliThis is done on a tiny budget but that can go a long way now. There's some projection, I think, because that's got to be cheaper than a trailer. There's what appears to be a CG road sign because that's probably now also cheaper than location. Efficiency is no bad thing. While it handles some weight of subject like its white whale of a conveyance it keeps it moving along lightly through the dark. On night drives, a Kruger Park game ranger drives you around and provides very interesting commentary about the vegetation and animals that you come across. You can ask the ranger any questions that you may have too. The ranger will also give spotlights to passengers in the vehicle. They use them to scan the bush for animal eyes reflecting in the light. While her best-known work is characterised by rich and honest songwriting inspired by the greats, Williams has continually been able to evolve as an artist because she’s always looked outside of such boundaries. She continues to listen and learn while, at the same time, writing with a fiery spirit and a sense of adventure that has never once wilted. Instead it's more of a change of gear. Assured and powerful, but, to extend the metaphor, not possessed of a dual-clutch. It's smooth, but not one that we get much build up to. Instead things that had been separated are brought together at speed, and for a moment grip seems lost. It can be cold on night drives, especially in winter, so make sure you take warm clothing with you if you go on one.
