About this deal

Death isn't an ominous card despite what you'd think due the the imagery, it's simply representative of sudden change (which doesn't have to be bad), and Homura becomes exactly that as she's the only one who has to change with this now Madoka doesn't physically exist anymore. The Chariot is about feelings over mind and moving forward. Sayaka stops thinking straight and lets her feelings consume her; acting impulsive and punching a witch into mush. The things that drive her slowly tear her apart. Similarly, she can use wider red ribbons to tie people exclusively, the ribbon will be tighter if the tied person doesn't listen to her. Episode 03 Madoka Kaname: She meets Madoka upon saving Kyubey from Homura. They get along very well and Mami acts like a mentor to Madoka, who adores Mami's Magical Girl nature. They care for each other and are good friends or teammates.

Parents need to know that Puella Magi Madoka Magica appears to be a cute animated show for little girls (similar to Sailor Moon), but it's full of dark moments and imagery that is more suited for teens and adults. 2. What is Madoka's full name?

GOOD SMILE COMPANY

Mami lived with her parents in her apartment and happily with them. One day, the entire family was involved in a car accident and they died, but Mami survived roughly, before forming a contract with Kyubey. She misses them and ever since she lost them, she has been very distant from society and takes care of the house by herself. Revealed in Portable, Mami was thinking of how nice and lovely it is to have parents moments before the accident. Mami ( マミ , Mami ?): When written in katakana, the name has no particular meaning. However, there are several kanji variations with the most suiting one being "graceful jewel" ( 雅珠 , "graceful jewel" ?), due to the fact that Magical Girls store their Soul Gems in accesories or rings. Phonetically, it sound similar to "mommy", referencing to her big sister role to Madoka and Sayaka as well as her close relationship with Nagisa Momoe in The Rebellion Story. Mami was an only child who lived with her two parents before they were killed in a car crash. When she was seriously injured in the crash, Kyubey appeared before her and Mami wished to live. As a magical girl she longed to form a team with others like her, however it was hard to find people willing to partner with her. In the manga, The Different Story, it was revealed that she did meet Kyoko and they started to work together. After the death of her family, Kyoko's relationship with Mami turned bitter and they were no longer friends.

Kyubey is a sexless (though it apparently identifies as a male) extraterrestrial cat-like being posing as a familiar who can grant any wish to a certain girl, on the condition that she become a magical girl and fight against witches. 4. What was Madoka's original wish? Mami Tomoe has very curly blonde hair, usually in twin drills. She has yellow square-shaped eyes. When in her civilian form, Mami is seen mostly in her school uniform. This also contains spoilers for the Anime, but it's labelled as Rebellion spoilers because to understand Rebellion, you'll have to have watched the anime or read the manga. The Hermit is isolation and solitude. When Madoka is alone in her room, Kyubey comes along and explains her the entire truth. Also, now with Kyouko dead, Homura is also alone. The Empress is obviously Mami, who dies in this episode, and the qualities The Empress represents (the feminine, motherly feelings, beauty) are lost.

Mami has a notable ability that helps her turn ordinary objects like baseball bats into weapons that are able to protect non-Magical Girls. Episode 02 Nagisa Momoe: Mami and Nagisa have been really close ever since The Rebellion Story and they make a pretty good team. The Lovers is not only about love, but also two rather different options (the original card was a man having to choose between two ladies after all). Sayaka has the choice to agree with Homura and Kyouko, but refuses. On the other hand, Kyouko wants to help Homura at last. In Ume Aoki's design notes, she states that her twisty, curly hair and floral hairpin make her seem like a big sister. She also says that Mami’s Magical Girl design was definitely centered around her image as a gunner. and 1 - The Fool and The Magician: I'll conflate these two because there is of course no episode 0 but it fits nonetheless. Madoka is The Fool at first - introduced as the protagonist at the start of their journey: not knowing anything and being a prominent example of innocence. Kyubey fits as The Magician - someone holding up the powers of earth and sky with magic. In episode 4, Homura mentions that Mami has no close relatives and in whichever timeline she would die, it would take long to be announced as "missing". Mami Tomoe appears to be a very kind, gentle, and cheerful girl. Though she reveals to Madoka Kaname that she is lonely and appears to be desperate for having teammates. Mami is very nice to everyone but she seems to dislike Homura Akemi. She takes pride in her actions and saving people due to mentoring other Magical Girls, since she has been fighting Witches for the longest of all.

The Hierophant is tradition, status quo, blah blah all that. It's also about learning things and Homura 'learns' Madoka that Puella Magi can't be saved (because she already knew about them) and ends the fight between Sayaka and Kyouko by her knowledge. Revealed in the series' guidebook, Ume Aoki almost gave Mami's theme color as red, and Kyoko's theme color as yellow. The High Priestess (called 'The Priestess' here) fits with Homura, as this card is all about introspection, the secretive and the inner mind. The Emperor is not really to be matched with a certain character as a first, but the overall theme of it. This card is all about authority and stuff. Remember the people with the witch kiss? They acted like they were all being in a cult. Also, Sayaka chooses for the qualities of this card by making herself to be a hero.

B3 Size Ultimate Madoka Original Poster

You think the internet has EVERYTHING, but I cannot find any product offering for clear support rods for anime figures (that can support weight, not be distracting, and not damage either the figure at the support point or at the base) that need them due to leaning over time. A few months ago I opened and displayed my 2013 Ultimate Madoka figure, which I recently researched and found a report of it breaking after ~7 years. I still have sealed in-box Stronger-brand Devil Homura figure which I know is notorious for leaning issues, and I do not want to open her until I have a solution. Has anyone ever bought or made such a product? I am looking for advice. I am quite crafty and if needed I can build something on my own, but would prefer a pre-made product if available. The Hanged Man (called 'The Traitor' here, although the person pictured is female) is Madoka herself, being suspended from reality and living the life as a goddess she'll be, and slaying her own witch. This card is associated with letting go and a sacrifice and the original imagery had the person hanging upside down with a serene expression (instead of a smile here), suggesting this is a voluntary sacrifice. Strength, as we switched them at episode 8. Strength is, like the name reveals, symbolic of strength itself, but also courage, patience, control and discipline, which is something Homura surely needs in the fight against Walpurgisnacht. Should it be noted that Tiro sounds similar to the greek word for cheese ( Τυρί , Tirí ?). Mami and Nagisa are really close.
