A sim racing setup is incomplete without a handbrake. For all the drifting fans out there, and especially for those interested in rally games like DiRT, a handbrake is a very essential accessory. Most people assign the handbrake function to a button on the wheel, which works fine for occasional engagement. It’s only when you’re making hairpin turns, and desperately need to be perfect, you realise that you need a handbrake solution; because every split second matters. Controls can be calibrated at any time by selecting the control you would like to calibrate in the Options->Drive Menu: Note: In a handful of games that support USB input on PS4, ie. Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, DiRT 4, WRC 7 and SLRE, you can use any USB handbrake (Fanatec ClubSport, Thrustmaster TSS or Aiologs handbrake) via USB and map it as a standalone device. The Brake Force Factor adjustment adjusts the simulator's response to pedal input. By default, the Brake Force Factor is set to the recommended value of 1.80 for potentiometer pedals. If you have load cell pedals, this will need to be adjusted. The Brake Force Factor adjustment can be found in the Options->Drive menu. Select "Use linear mode" if you are using a direct drive wheel, leaving this option off boosts smaller forces and can make lower end gear driven wheel such as the Logitech G27, G29, G920, and G923 feel more lively.LGS can be used to create new or import LGS preset game profiles for compatible Logitech racing wheels. These profiles allow you to create customized button layouts and wheel/pedal sensitivity configurations for compatible games on your computer. The last thing I wanted to test is how the wheel feels when the car transitions from one surface to another. Many wheels on the market that claim to have a full 900 degree wheel range actually have slightly less range than advertised.
