If you’re unable to get it to work at all, it’s probable that your PC doesn’t support the software. The next test will be for the VRM fan. Arctic has built, thus far, a good product. We need to see how it does long-term, as Enermax has scared us away from firm recommendations on thermals alone. The reason why this happens is because of the default OSD settings. It’s not enabled to allow you to view your FPS count on NZXT CAM. You can easily fix the FPS issue by changing your OSD settings.

If the NZXT device still does not detect while connected to the motherboard then there may be an issue with the USB cable. If the device has a detachable USB cable, such as with the Kraken X2, X3, and Z series coolers then you can use a standard Mini USB or Micro USB cable (see the list below) to connect the device to an open USB Type-A port on the motherboard or with an external PC such as a laptop. Also before, I had it plugged into my PSU via a molex-sata power cable. I worked fine like that, before. I could hook it up to another system, my old msi mATX board, to see if the RGB lights on the Kraken would work.
