About this deal

yes it is abrasive and can wear down your enamel. What I do is replace most of the baking soda with calcium bentonite clay. I would say 3parts clay 1part soda. The calcium bentonite clay is a mild abrasive, helps recalcify the teeth and pulls the toxins out of your gums and cavities if there is decay.. I made up a recipe With natural, high-quality ingredients, this toothpaste should benefit your kid’s mouth health, protecting against plaque, tartar, cavities, gum disease, just like a fluoridated toothpaste would. Charcoal toothpastes have taken the natural toothpaste market by storm recently, thanks to their apparent teeth-whitening effect. tablespoon xylitol, powdered (I only had granulated. so I ground mine up in a mortar and pestol and came out grainy so I dissolve it in 1 tablespoon of water)

Another well-known cosmetic company from Thailand, TP4 International Co., Ltd., was established in 1990. It owns several brands, including ISME and Rasyan. The company produces natural cosmetics based on Thai herbs. All its products comply with the ISO 9002 requirements and are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified.I could go on and on and on. Just google “dangers of flouride”. I don’t want to distract from Matt’s great posting for the homemade recipe, but wanted to give additional information to those who are concerned about it not containing flouride. First of all, before our family decided to go the toxic-free route, our daughter was brought up on Colgate (WITH flouride). She had so many cavities in her baby teeth she had to get caps put on most of them. My spouse was also raised on traditional chemical filled toothpastes (WITH flouride) and had to have 25 – yes, you are reading this correct – 25 cavities filled about 5 years ago. All while using toothpaste with flouride.

But, I wouldn’t argue that adults these days probably get too much fluoride. Buuuuut, if you still get cavities, then you should stay on fluoridated toothpaste.

In some perspective, I actually agree with you — adding F- to the water is arguably unconstitutional. But when I put on my dentist hat, I see millions of kids who do not receive dental care because their parents do not value it, or choose not to for financial/other reasons. For a large percentage of them, F in the drinking water means teeth in function they wouldn’t otherwise have as adults, less tooth ache in class, better nutrition, etc. People who are more well off have options to avoid the F in water, much like you apparently do. You could also argue that due the halo effect, that’s become increasingly difficult, and you’d be very correct. On the other hand, I don’t think it is absolutely necessary to have it in toothpaste since there are a multitude of factors that lead to healthy teeth, including diet, mineral deficiencies, eating habits, flossing etc. All of the natural and organic ingredients are suitable for veggies and vegans and there are no parabens, phthalates, SLS, colourants or artificial sweeteners to be found!
