About this deal

You’ve worked hard for this, and you deserve all the success. Besides doing very well in college, you have also set a great example for your brother and sister. Great Job! All the adults you spend time with (nursery teachers, ballet teachers, swimming teachers, horse riding teachers) gush over how adorable you are – both your cheeky face but also your unique personality and the way you are. We know you will make a lovely husband and a good one at that. It gives us great satisfaction that we have raised a good son. We are particularly impressed with the way both of you treat each other with respect. The chemistry between you two is evident. Even though this is just the beginning, your honesty, passion, and persistence will have a big influence on your employment. So always stay true to yourself, keep your values, and be sincere in whatever you do. Keep learning as you travel along this new path. P.S. Your grandma and grandpa are coming over this weekend. 16. Thank you for bringing your special joy, fun, laughter and happiness into our family life and into the lives of everyone you touch.

And here we are, 18 years later. You have grown up to be a person I imagined and prayed for. Congratulations on your graduation, son. Seeing you in your graduation gown the other day brought tears in my eyes. It was one of the proudest days of my life. This is the best gift you could ever give me, son. Son, misunderstandings happen in all families, and as a young man, we know you have your perspectives on things that may not quite align with ours. But it doesn’t mean that the conflict cannot be resolved. It is how we overcome those that define us as a family and as individuals. On your parenting journey, remember to enjoy every moment. Cherish the little human as they grow up in the blink of an eye. Being a parent is a big responsibility and I have full faith in you and your spouse. Prom is a special milestone, celebrating your school years and your friendships. As you wear your suit and tie, know that you’re not just dressing up for an event but for a memory that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Letter to my 4 Year Old Daughter: Happy Birthday! An Open Letter to my 4 Year Old Daughter: Happy Birthday!

I promise to work at being the best parent I can be for you, and as a son, I want you to become the best teenager you can be. Remember that I am strict with you at times because I want you to become the best version of yourself. I’m sure you’ll thank me one day.Remember that we are not going to give up on you, and you are always welcome to talk to us anytime you want. Son, it’s not your fault. Let’s work together to overcome this deadly disease, and be an example to people in our community. You are my forever love, guiding light, and hope, my beautiful boy. My blessings will always be with you. I’m on Your Team: When you were tiny, I can remember being in awe at the pure tiny of your paw in mine. As your push in to your first teenage year, I know I won’t always be able to hold your hand, but little girl, I will ALWAYS be on your team. I won’t always have all the answers, we may not always agree, but I promise you can count on me to be standing at your shoulder, supporting you.

Birthday To My Son, From Mom: Letter On Your First Happy 1st Birthday To My Son, From Mom: Letter On Your First

It’s critical to remember that even though this is a challenging time, things will change for good. It is a time for introspection and rediscovery. Life has a habit of delivering curveballs, and it is in these testing times that we truly realize our tenacity and strength. I’m thrilled to learn that you just bought your first car. I’m super proud that my boy is living his best life and I cannot wait to have my first ride on the new member of our family. It’s been incredible watching you progress through your milestones, we cheered when you began to be able to hold your head up at around three months, we loved it when you could sit unassisted at eight months, you started crawling at eleven months and now you are standing and walking with assistance. You are always hesitant and want something to be perfect before you try it and then when you do, you’re so proud of yourself and make sure everyone can see! My favourite milestone has been when you first smiled and soon you were laughing… you’ll laugh hysterical… you love to laugh, it’s your favourite thing! Everyone that meets you describes you as chilled out and such a relaxed and happy baby, even if something upset you, you’re soon smiling again! Keep Your Curiosity Sharp: You have always been inquisitive, but as you are growing and learning more about the world, you have had more questions. Keep asking them, Baby Girl. Keep furrowing your brow when you don’t like what you hear. Keep pushing for the answers. Make the adults around you think about the things that are important to you. Your heart, your opinions and your voice matter. Every year, I’m certain all of the feelings I have for you, all of the wishes I wish, all of the dreams I hope….they will magically flow from my heart to my fingertips to paper. And yet, here I am, once again….sitting, finding it close to impossible to put YOU – great big, extraordinary YOU in to words.Remember when you were learning to ride a bicycle? At first, your dad and I would support you, and then, after a few falling-and-getting-up-again episodes, you were able to ride it on your own. Similarly, you are now at a stage where you are ready to take on the world. I have no doubt that you’ll do very well. I believe in your ability and, most importantly, in your perseverance. I will be by your side, encouraging you at each step, celebrating each accomplishment, and helping you overcome obstacles as you pursue them with all your heart.

Birthday Letters to my Baby – Emily Rollings

Growing older, facing our first plane ride together to escape the Dubai heat, just me and my boys. A summer in the UK, where you were introduced to the friends and family we don’t get to see out here in Dubai. You see Baby Boy, that’s one of the things being an expat kid, we live so far away. And I know that with technology these days you get to have a relationship, you get to see the familiar faces. But it’s not the same as real life cuddles. But Baby Boy, being an expat kid has meant that you get Mummy every day. At home. Which has meant that I’ve got to watch you grow every day. And that summer in the UK? We had a blast. I hope you are doing well. The anticipation of adding a new member to our family builds as the days pass. We are all waiting to see the wonderful chemistry with you and your fiancé. It’s time we rejoiced in the wonderful journey you two are embarking on and are hosting a family meal for you and your fiance at our house. It would be a wonderful opportunity for all of us to get closer and spend valuable family time together. Let’s make it a special evening of merriment, tales, and laughter. Kids Can be Teachers, too: When we list the ‘teachers’ you will have in life, we often think about parents (hey – that’s me and your daddy), the teachers you have in school and the mentors you’ll find later in life, but Mini, you are, by far, one of my greatest teachers – and so is Coop. You remind me every day that I still have so much to learn and some of my most important lessons are found in the quiet moments in our very own home. Thank you. Congratulations on turning 18. As you are officially a man now, I’m writing to you to let you know a few things that I believe would help you, for they definitely helped me.I often wish I was one of those people who kept a regular journal. I like the idea of consistently recording the small moments in life, but if you read either of my blogs you'll know that's not me. I don't have a record of the exact moment Sophia crawled (sorry sweetheart), but as her first year rushed past I thought about the letter I wrote on her Birth-Day and realised I could at least write to her once a year, on her birthday. I could create a tradition to keep my own record of her journey through childhood, and hopefully a story that she could carry with her through life. A story that would remind her of who is she, where she came from and how much she is loved.
