What remains is a skin smell. It does last for hours and hours, which is great! But I miss the sweetness and I expected a bit more sillage as well. As there is a higher oil content to make them last longer, with ALL perfumes, not just The Essence Vaults's perfumes, we do recommend that you take care when applying on clothes, and of course you do so at your own risk. the longevity is impeccable on this one. i would sure hope so for the cost lol. the fact that this is an extrait shows. its much more oily than the EDP. it lasts soooo long on your body and *especially* clothes! sometimes even after i wash my clothes i can still smell a hint of this DNA.

I bought the 6.7 oz bottle. This isn’t just a scent—it’s a gift from a higher power. If you want to feel rich, ooze decadence, and enjoy hearing how great you smell, you deserve this. I’m neither fishing for compliments or admiration, nor am I rich… but who has to know?

FILLING potential. You’d nauseate yourself, if you sprayed more than a couple sprays. HOW?! And I mean!? HOW, can this possibly be sold, under the same label… I still have a little of my samples l bought, I haven’t gone nose blind…. One spray of those, and BOOM! Scent cloud, compliments at every corner, days of wear, THIS, is what I was trying to buy a bottle of. WHAT A disgrace to the company. They created a masterpiece, and just butchered it into nothing. I stand corrected with my first sentiment of my original post, PLEASE!?! Who can sell me a bottle of WHAT THIS FRAGRANCE WAS?!! AND WHY, does this have to keep happening over and over, and over, from every fragrance house that created a beautiful work of art. Jesus!! IS ANYTHING left from ANY FRAGRANCE house, that once stole our hearts?!! I have NOTHING to wear anymore that is remotely special, every fragrance house has slaughtered their creations. Something about some oversight fragrance board, but wow!? This severe!? The LUXURY, THE INTOXICATION, It’s not existent… Sad Sad Face! It can be considered a masterpiece for having one of the best amber, saffron and ambergris notes I have ever experienced. Yeah, it’s so different to whatever else is out there. I’m not surprised at the notoriety but what I am surprised by is that it evokes happy feelings in people. To me this is a scent of a dying android from Blade Runner. I see Rudger Hauer delivering this famous line:

But to be honest, I personally am a bit disappointed. The extrait is in many ways similar to its EDP sister. There is something so luxurious and special about having the original. Bottles are beautiful and the scent is magical. If you've fallen for it head over heels then you should get it. I always recommend to save up and get what you've fallen for instead of choosing a similar one to save money. You'll always be craving the one you truly want so it's better to be patient and get your love and not settle. No in all seriousness, this does smell amazing! I smell some sugar and almond at the top, a faint jasmine all throughout, a little bit of spice that I can’t quite put my finger on (the ambergris perhaps?) and an ambery wood base. The spiciness fades away the fastest of all the layers in this juice. If you want to give it a label, it leans slightly more feminine than masculine, but is for sure a unisex fragrance anyone can easily wear. Other than a few dupes, I’ve never smelled anything somewhat similar to this besides Cloud. I’m unsure if Cloud even qualifies as a dupe of this or not, though. Not many people I’ve met in my area wear BR or have even heard of it, so I know it smells unique and stands out. In terms of performance, it doesn't disappoint. Some people label it as weak, but don't be mistaken. This is not a heavy oud fragrance, this is airy and light while keeping its depth. This fragrance is loud even when you forget it's there. I was in a friend's kitchen when her roommate came in and exclaimed "Baccarat Rouge?!". That was at least 5-6h after applying, and at that point I went noseblind to it, but it easily filled up the whole kitchen while I was there for 15 minutes. This has happened on multiple occasions, so for me, these experiences speak for themselves.Oh, and Burberry Her in comparison? Nope, my sister wears that one and Cloud as well, and I can tell them apart when I smell her. Burberry Her is a lot fruitier than both BR540 and Cloud. Still similar, but not as much as the other two. In terms of uniqueness as of now, of course it depends where you live, but chances are that not many people are familiar with or own BR540. Most people have 2 perfumes at best. Also, wearing Cloud or anything as such, really isn't the same. It's like comparing a stunning designer dress with its dupe from Wish - might be similar, but the quality isn't the same.

I can appreciate that some people where frags for themselves, and aren't interested in what other people think, but I mean come on people - set some boundaries. A true trendsetter, Baccarat Rouge 540 inspired a legion of imitations. It was this very success, ironically, that gradually diluted its unique appeal for me. The market soon became saturated with countless reproductions that attempted to capture the magic of BR540, and this once-distinguished scent slowly lost its exclusivity. I read once how this a fragrance of the high-earning, immaculately dressed, deeply fatigued London elite, how it hangs in the air of the Zone 1 Underground. Nước hoa I'm always amused by people's opinions on MFK BR 540 because the opinions are all over the place. The guy below that feels it belongs on an elderly person is the 1st though lol... I've seen people on YouTube rave about this fragrance between the ages of 20s-50s. This fragrance is a def hit or miss with people. For me it is an absolute hit.....I have the original and this Extrait de Parfum. Both are intoxicating to me, though this one is a little more woody, warm and more unisex, while the original leans more feminine. Value for money (is a point of contention among those who own it, but I feel like it's worth it for me)
