O My slaves (mankind) who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgives all sins. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.(Quran 39:53-58 ) Allahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allahumm-aj’al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-ma’il-baridi There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness [any] blame concerning what they have eaten [in the past] if they [now] fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allah and believe, and then fear Allah and do good; and Allah loves the doers of good.} ( 5:93) The Righteous (who fear Him) If you love Allah show it in your conduct and obey Allah and His Messenger, for obedience of His Messenger is the obedience of Allah.(Quran 4:80 ) Gratitude puts our tests in perspective and stops us from complaining; it is the greatest route towards Sabr.

It was narrated from Aishah that: the Messenger of Allah said: “Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire.” Sunan Ibn Majah Grade : Hasan (Darussalam) English reference : Vol. 3, Book 9, Hadith 1846 So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.} ( 5:13)

Abu Hurairah narrated that The Messenger of Allah said: “The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character among them. And the best of you are those who are best to your women.” Grade : Hasan (Darussalam) Reference : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1162 In-book reference : Book 12, Hadith 17 So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” (Quran 3:159)

Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Read the Quran (regularly) for it will act as an intercessor for its readers on the Day of Resurrection.” [ Muslim]. The love of Allah should occupy man's heart and get total possession of it; and if it does not seize it entirely, it should at least outweigh the love of all other things in it. Allah Says about the believers, (what means): "He loves them and they love Him," [Quran 5:54] and the Prophet said: " A man would not have attained faith until and unless he loves Allah and His Messenger more than anything else." (Al-Bukhari) When angel of death came to take the soul of Prophet Ibraheem the latter said, "Have you ever seen a friend take his friend's life?" To that, Allah replied, "Have you ever seen a friend unwilling to see his friend?" Then Ibraheem said, "O Angel of death! Take my soul!" The Prophet taught the following supplication to his Companions, "O Allah, allow me to love You and to love those who love You, and to love whatsoever brings me nearer to Your love, and make Your love more precious to me than cold water to the thirsty." (At-Tirmithi) No religion encourages showing affection, mutual love, and intimacy like Islam. Love in Islam is all encompassing, it promotes healthy and halal relationship between men and women, towards family, friends, and to your neighbor.In other words, love for others does not necessarily have to contradict with Allah’s love, as long as we love others for the sake of Allah s.w.t and in accordance to His pleasure. However, there are other forms of love that are warned to us by Allah s.w.t. These are the bad and prohibited ones, such as love for adultery and false deities. He is absolutely just and fair to the minutest detail, so everyone gets exactly what they deserved, plus extra measures of compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. The true servants of Allah are those who carry themselves with humility and they forgive people for their bad behavior.

The second cause of this love is that man loves his benefactor, and in truth, his only Benefactor is Allah, for whatever kindness man receives from fellow-creatures is due to the immediate instigation of Allah. Whatever the motive that may have prompted the kindness he receives from others, Allah is the One who set that motive to work. Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind.” Qur’an 5:32Love for the people what you love for yourself and you will be a believer. Behave well with your neighbors and you will be a Muslim. Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 4217, Source: Sahih The beloved Prophet (saw) does not want any of his Ummah to enter the fire and will do his utmost to intercede for every member of his Ummah. It is true, one who sincerely loves Allah may shrink away from the thought of dying before he is fully prepared to meet his beloved One in the Next World, but one would think, he should work diligently to prepare for that sure meeting ahead of time. Humility means to avoid the destructive sin of arrogance and haughtiness. Arrogance is an evil deed in which a person praises himself instead of Allah, or he considers himself superior to others, or he rejects the truth because it comes from a person he considers lesser than himself. You must imagine the creation of Allah before your eyes and think, ‘These people are beloved to my God. If I am unable to behold and experience Allah the Almighty, then I will love His creation, knowing that it is the source of gaining His love. To love the creation in such a way suddenly and rapidly ignites the fire of divine Love …
