About this deal

BigBadToyStore listing: "Transformers Generations Legacy Evolution Voyager Wave 1 Set of 2 Figures" (outdated, "Evolution" has since been removed) So what do you all think? Are you looking forward to this figure even more now? Still not a big fan? Let us know your thoughts on the Energon Pub forums! Important to note however that it appears some aspects have been customized, including the cab robot toes and super mode eyes. A Hero is Born (Box set of Orion Pax – repaint with new head of Studio Series 86 Kup and Alpha Trion – A retooled and repainted Studio Series 86 Scourge with Vector Sigma accessory. Hasbro Pulse exclusive) As had first been done in the Armada line, Takara elected to supplement their release of the Leader-sized Grand Convoy figure with a new-mold Combat Class-sized toy. Coming without his trailer, the Grand Force, or electronics, this Grand Convoy discarded the larger toy's ability to form his Super Mode in favor of being able to Powerlinx with the other compatible toys of the Super Link line, forming either a torso or a pair of legs that the other Cybertrons (Autobots) could connect to. Like the Legends of the Microns "STD Convoy", this one too was on the small side for its "size class", but just as that figure could, this small Convoy can still tow the Leader-sized figure's trailer.

Transformers Legacy: Evolution continued the Legacy line into 2023, introducing the combining Core Class Dinobots and modular Junkions. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Transformers: Armada, there were a number of updated characters from that line along with introductions from the Transformers Animated series. Transformers Legacy Evolution Core Class Toys Therefore, it was very difficult to decide how to distribute the limited number of part in the Commander class to which mode. Now that we have a clear look at how that front skirt works for super mode; yeah, it needs to be replaced. I really wish Hasbro would stop thinking that it's okay to have the entire front skirt be one piece instead of three. It looks so stupid when you move one leg up and the entire skirt has to move with the leg. Admittedly they tried to mitigate this by having a swivel in the middle but it's still dumb. I fixed SS86 Ironhide's skit by cutting it into three pieces so that the whole thing doesn't move all at once. I want to try something with the Earthrise Seeker but it wouldn't be simple and I wouldn't want to mess up some of the more expensive versions of that mold. I really think things like this are what DNA should be upgrading when it comes to certain figures. I'd pay for every single ER Seeker to have a better skirt.Galvatron (Same as Transformers: War For Cybertron: Kingdom release but without battle damage deco) Known designers: Eric Siebenaler (Hasbro), Takashi Kunihiro (Takara), Hirofumi Ichikawa (detailing)

Machine Wars Megatron/Megaplex is already an easy redeco for Prime Universe Dreadwing using the BotCon release as a base, so they can get away with that The initial release of the figure featured silver lights on his roof; later on, the lights were changed to yellow, and later still, an Autobot emblem was added to the hood of the vehicle. These changes were not made on the Japanese release of the figure, which bore the unfortunate appellation of "STD", meaning "standard". [5] The toy is notable for being one of the earliest instances of an important character receiving a second, more affordable toy without this being rationalised as an entirely new body in-fiction—as not all markets would receive the bigger price-points. And now that I see some size comparisons I think the super mode is perhaps a little too tall. It's taller than Star Saber, Super Ginrai, Star Convoy, Dai Atlas, Optimal Optimus, PotP Rodimus, PotP Optimus, TR PMOP and CW Ultra Magnus but not as tall as Victory Saber and God Ginrai. I'd want it to have been slightly smaller to match those other Autobot leaders. Or just be as tall as God Ginrai and Victory Saber. Just not in between. I even have enough kits on my Siege GUOP to make him as tall as the rest as well. So that makes it worse when Armada Optimus being taller than Cybertron Optimus.Under his various Japanese names, Optimus was three candidates in TakaraTomy's Masterpiece Fan's Choice poll, which asked fans to determine which Autobot/Maximal leader from the franchise's then-30 year history should receive a new toy in the prestigious Masterpiece line.
