Usually when I try to reach Seerah books I get overwhelmed by the chunk of historic information of the Arab world, culture and societal norms prior to the birth of the Prophet. Thinking from the perspective of a young person over the age of 10, I believe this is one of the reason why young people (and adults) aren’t able to engage with mainstream Seerah books. One of the easy reading , captivating and engrossing seerah books I have ever read. I mean would have loved it as a teenager, the audience it is actually aimed at. Nevertheless find it beautiful even as an adult! It's the book that you should definitely include in your seerah collection. Just like the printed version of The Simple Seerah, this audibook revolutonises the Seerah learning experience. This audibook is designed to be immerseve and enjoyable to listen to, narrated in simple English for the whole family. beautifully written in a novel-like style, perfect for children and teens! would defo recommend giving this book to ur little humans to get them started on the seerah of the Prophet pbuh! will be excitedly waiting for the second part :) Many academics have devoted their work to both types of writings equally from the 8th and 9th centuries. Reading each chapter was a treat. I was always excited to read the next chapter, I cannot wait for the new book. The illustrations are beautifully detailed and help to visualise the story. This is very helpful for me as it can be overwhelming at times for me to learn through just reading text. The illustrations give the story that extra depth this way and also make it fun for kids (and adults!) to read. A beautifully written book that I had bought, with hopes that it could bring me closer Allah swt and increase my understanding and love for our Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
