About this deal

Iris and Will’s marriage is as close to perfect as it can be: a large house in a nice Atlanta neighborhood, rewarding careers and the excitement of trying for their first baby. But on the morning Will leaves for a business trip to Orlando, Iris’s happy world comes to an abrupt halt. Another plane headed for Seattle has crashed into a field, killing everyone on board, and according to the airline, Will was one of the passengers on this plane.

Cam has been playing the role of the perfect husband and father for a while, but he’s carrying a heavy load of secrets. And a scandal is in his very near future.Well when Will unexpectedly dies in a plane crash, Iris learns that the man she married was not the man she thought he was. She begins digging into her husband’s past and discovers there was a whole lot more to Will than she could have ever imagined. She begins questioning her entire marriage, and the more she discovers the more she learns about Will, the more she puts herself in danger. Overall this is more of a thriller than a mystery or suspense novel, but it also has some humanity and an intriguing look at wealth disparity and privilege. Kimberly Belle writes some very exciting books and I look forward to her next one. Cam’s wife Jade and her two kids Beatrix and Baxter, (known as the Bee’s) pull into their garage never realizing there may be someone there hiding, waiting for them.

Cam Laskey is better known as the Steak King in Atlanta. And if you want a table at one of his premiere restaurants you may be waiting weeks (maybe months) for a reservation. But what’s really going on behind those kitchen doors? This book is very well written and the insights into the past let's the reader piece together what is going on. The descriptiona are vivid and help to set the scene. The cover and synopsis worked well with the storyline. Belle, Kimberly (26 June 2018). Three Days Missing. Harlequin Enterprises, Limited. ISBN 9780778307716– via Google Books. Secrets underlie the supposedly perfect union between Iris and Will. How destructive are secrets to a relationship? Can secrets ever be countenanced in a marriage … are some secrets permissible? Do you have secrets in your closest relationships—with your spouse, significant other, or dear friends? What if you found someone were keeping secrets? Would it depend on the secret? The situation at the house is tense and the man ties up Jade and the children while they wait for Cam. I was very worried for Jade and the kids. However, Jade is smart and is soon plotting to overcome the intruder. What a storyteller Rachel Abbott is..." Cara Hunter "It's obvious why Abbott has attracted her huge audience ." The Times " The queen of psychological thrillers ." Fabulous Magazine I do accept that many readers would enjoy this, so it’s well worth a try if you generally enjoy tense family drama with a secret. As Tall as they are, they know to avoid any behavior that could be misconstrued as menacing or threatening. Their hands must be visible while in public and the 3 must NEVER move as a group. No group trips to the mall, Burger King or whatnot. NEVER. There’s so much going on in this spectacular book; so many different gifts to open. The 40th birthday present is just one of them….

The story starts with a tv interview between Channel 7 reporter Juanita Moore ( second cousin of Julianne Moore, okay I lied, let’s continue )and Cam Lasky who was shunned by media for months, portrayed as one of the biggest grifters, most hated behind Pharma Bro, Martin Shkreli. We learn that Cam was once upon a time a top chef, owner of 5 highly appraised restaurants. But the reason behind public hate is not he has same treats with Gordon Ramsey. Hell, no! It’s connected to his family who suffered a big tragedy and the reason why they suffered so much connected with his tremendous lies he kept from them. To my humble opinion, it was a mediocre read. It wasn’t a mind-blowing or a captivating thriller. In contrast, it was quite a predictable one and sometimes even boring. When you’re a kid, you imagine monsters to have horns and fangs. That they hide under the bed or in the wardrobe. And you believe they can only come after you when it’s dark. This is a story that really doesn't have a lot of unexpected twists, but is intense. You really feel the fear of this family as they try to break away from this madman in their beautiful home. Anything could happen to them and it will have your blood pressure rising. Overall: this is intense, extremely high tension, exciting, breath taking , absolutely best book of the author earned my five unlawful entry, parenting, high tension, nail biter, mind bender stars! This book is written in first person perspective and the main protagonist is Stella. The benefits of books written in first person perspective are as long as they are well written it makes you feel that you are being spoken to by the protagonist and it can create more of a bond between yourselves and them.
