About this deal

Without constant up-keep the oven screen will be near impossible to easily pop out and and it will retain the baked on residue. So, for a unit in this price range, we would have liked it to be much lower maintenance, similar to the Zeus Arc S Hubwhich features a removable vapor pathway. That being said, I switched from 8 a day to one or two smoking sessions a day. I [feel more effects], for longer and feel more satisfied than before. I also use WAY less herb. There are two types of PAX users: those who sip, and those who rip. If you’re a sipper, the new model produces more vapor from a short ~2-4 second draw than the original, which is a bit above average. My wife is a sipper, and she was already happy using the original model, so she’s very happy with the new one (happy wife, happy life). Rippers will be pretty satisfied too, generally the longer you pull the more vapor you’ll get and it stays nice and smooth. Either way, drawing slowly is the key to great results.

Hey Bud Im a new customer to Pax and just purchesd “Pax 2”. Have you experienced lip burning from the newest model… I find that I get the most comfortable hits with the new model lip piece rather than the other… Look forward to hearing from you thanks

So every PAX 2 is capable of some hidden features. Apparently not every PAX 2 will feature Simon mode, so you need to see if yours does or not. There are a load of hidden features and below are a few that I have found on my PAX 2. Also according to PAX labs CMO, not every PAX 2 firmware will be the same and will be set to random. So you will just have to play around with your to see what you can find! One other thing you could try is making the outlet hole on the mouthpiece a little bigger with a small drill or screwdriver, but I would recommend buying a second mouthpiece and trying it on that in case it doesn’t work out. Interesting, I dropped mine and the tech told me via chat they can’t help me with accidental damage…. The original model has above average draw resistance, meaning it doesn’t feel completely free-flowing when you pull from it. Conduction vapes are usually like this because sometimes too little resistance in the draw can actually hinder vapor production. The new one is better in this area and feels more free-flowing, most notably when it’s clean and there’s no residue restricting airflow around the screen. But it took me some times to get there, and like many others that I could read about, I had to do it a couple of times to get a hang of it.

So my friend and I tested the PAX 2 on Saturday night and were both incredibly impressed. It was my friends first time using a vaporizer of this type, so it was interesting to get his input as to what he thought. Hey yea the draw is definitely more restrictive than most others, one of the things I’ve found that affects it is how the oven screen is positioned – if the screen is pressed all the way down to the bottom it could restrict airflow, it’s better if you leave the side where the opening is a few millimeters up off the bottom. Alex is a cannabis enthusiast, long time vaporizer lover, writer and filmmaker. He is also a board and video game nerd with a penchant for hosting a weekly board game night. Partygoers have been heard saying things like “is anyone else going to show up?” and “I don’t think I can make it next week”. He strives to make people laugh at every opportunity and sees cannabis as a helpful tool in doing so. Did any have tried using the pax2 with hash? Moroccan hash? Afghani? Pollen? Kief? Pressed hash or whatever u want to name it ?Great review man, keep them coming! I was wondering, I just got my Pax 2 and I want to keep the avb to make edibles/eat. So how should I know when to stop vaping and to empty the oven? I used it a lot yesterday on level 1 heat and I plan on going to level 2-3 for the remainder of the time I use it. Thank you! I’d say the taste is good overall, it’s above average for sure and flavor is improved over the original. It’s better in the beginning of your session but the vapor is always pretty pure, and for its small size the vapor quality is actually pretty impressive.

Yes the oder is very strong after the unit has cooled down. It smells like a walking skunk. I never had this issue with the original Pax or Volcano. Vapor does leak from the bottom and top of the unit and the smell lingers. If you are vaping outside, you would just need to conceal the dense vapor exhales to feel comfortable, but vaping inside discreetly would certainly be a challenge because of the distinct smell produced. Users that want little to no odor from their device while vaping, even indoors, prefer units like the Utillian 722.

Clean up right away

Generally drier material will produce more vapor, and you may need to grind it finer than what the sharpstone can do, I usually use my finishing grinder with this vape. You should keep your Pax on until you’re done with your session (finished vaping). For best results it’s recommended to vape the entire chamber in one session, but you can still get good results shutting it off in the middle of a sesh and saving the rest for later. First of all, my Pax2 is finally arrived… and in a “full easter eggs” version..! Very nice. And most important, works great… You won’t regret it,I got mine yesterday and it’s amazing! It also comes fully charged which I thought was pretty neat This Ramp temperature selection can override the customised fifth temperature setting. But it won’t apply to the quartet of default settings.
