Really pleased with my first Luna kit. I’ve now made two plus Daisy the sheep and won’t be stopping there! We do sell vouchers and are available in any amount, you can find them here, they can be spent online and in store. I’ve enjoyed making Luna and friends from Books 1 and 2 and was thrilled and excited when Book 3 was announced. It was well worth the wait! The world of Luna lapin is a magical place and very addictive. There’s great online support via a Facebook group were you get to share your creations, get advice and make new friends. This book is a must buy for all you crafter’s xxx Yet another triumph of a book from Coll Crafting. The easy to follow instructions and gorgeous animals are a delight to make. I can’t wait to get started on Hamish! I bought the Flora lapin kit at the knitting and stitching show. Fabulous instructions, easy to understand and follow. Absolutely loved making this gorgeous rabbit and have bought more fabric to make others!
If you’re into sewing super cute softies with big personalities, this book might just be up your ally. Let’s see… Please remember these were never intended as toys – anything you make will be your responsibility in terms of end-use, being fit for purpose and CE testing. We like to say Luna is suitable for an “adventurous beginner”, by the time you have made her and her clothes you will know a lot more than you did on the first stitch. We designed Luna to help teach you how to sew and give you the confidence to start stitching and dressmaking. Just have a go! Despite his reputation as a salty seadog, Hugh is actually an old romantic, companionship is the thing he values most. though having had his share of heartbroken, it doesn’t stop this hound dog from falling in love as often as he can (and always with Ottoline). Loyal, clever and though he can be grumpy (a lifetime of pining over a long-lost love will do that to you), your bark is worse than your bite.
Well worth the wait, presentation is absolutely gorgeous throughout and the stories beautiful. Another fantastic book to treasure The book is fantastic and animals so cute and outfits and beautiful, cool crafting is brilliant, the service they give is second to none , I have met Sarah and husband a few times at the show and they so friendly and they can’t do enough for you . As with all our kits, the instructions are thorough and include diagrams and photographs to demonstrate the sewing steps.
Just fabulous – wonderful clear easy to follow patterns and descriptions. Delightful animals and outfits! Wonderful stories … well done Sarah Peel and Cool Crafting team another inspirational book . My Luna is a bunny BTW, because I think she looks more like a bunny than a rabbit, so I’ll just call her that.
Further Luna Lapin Inspiration
What a fab well written book. The stories set the tone perfectly and I would love to see what happens to Luna next. Guess I need to hurry along and make her and Alfie and write my own Chapter in the story. The patterns are easy to cut and follow. The fabric choice recommendation is on point and it is easy to personalize the looks. I also like the fact you get boots and shoes patterns. Even a novice sewer would be able to make something by following the instructions carefully. Definitely worth purchasing this book. I am itching to make everything. Last year my mom (who loves sewing and quilting) bought the book Making Luna Lapin by Sarah Peel, and we got sewing as soon as it arrived. We couldn’t wait because everything in it is so cuuuute. It’s about this super sweet little girl rabbit called Luna Lapin ( lapin is French for rabbit) and her little fashions. And finally please make sure they are items you are proud of, and that I would be too! And that you are charging a price for them that reflects your time and love.
