About this deal

In the event that Third Party Software is supplied, you agree to be bound by and to observe any terms and conditions relating to the use of such Third Party Software. Split mode is a discipline performing keyboardists should master. Sadly, that no bass sounds are included with the B2 means you can’t really practice this aspect much. These criticisms were pretty widespread too, so Korg has taken most of them into account when designing the B2, B2SP, and B2N. Many of the problems have been resolved and I can confidently say the B2 is a vast improvement over the last-gen B1. Headphones come in very handy when you want to practice in private, focusing solely on your playing and not disturbing others nearby.

Speakers: The Korg B2 piano features two 9W speakers and they sound great. Since it has front-firing speakers, the sounds from this piano are less affected by the shape of the room, which is a great advantage with this piano. The Korg B2 looks great and clean and you got this nice speaker grill. It’s kind of fabric, and the piano is skinny as well. The organs and electric pianos are good, if a bit limited in terms of malleability. I’d prefer to be able to change the original amounts of vibrato and rotary speaker modulation, but that’s asking a bit much since this is an entry-level instrument. The Korg B2 also includes a Damper Pedal. However, the pedal acts as a simple binary on-off switch, meaning half-pedaling isn’t supported. The key action and tones on this piano are excellent, and it is well-made. You will undoubtedly benefit from this entertaining and pleasant piano whether you are a total novice or an intermediate player. DifferencesKorg includes a Partner Mode on the B2, which splits the keyboard into two halves, each having the same key range. This allows teachers to play alongside their students for easy reference and is quite effective, especially for one-on-one lessons. Transposition. You can move up 5 semitones or down 6 semitones, giving you access to a full octave of expanded range.

This instrument uses a Natural Weighted Hammer Action (NH) keyboard that reproduces the same feel that results from the hammers on a real acoustic piano, where the low register is heavier and the high register is lighter. The keybed is sensitive and responds to nuanced touch at the tip of your fingers. USB MIDI/Audio You may not duplicate, alter, modify, rent, lease, resell, assign, loan, sub-license, distribute the whole or part of the Licensed Program, or make derivative works based on what is contained in the Licensed Program. (However, it is not included in this restriction that you create derivative works based on the data file(s).) This instrument uses a Natural Weighted Hammer Action (NH) keyboard that reproduces the same feel that results from the hammers on a real acoustic piano, where the low register is heavier and the high register is lighter. The keybed is sensitive and responds to nuanced touch at the tip of your fingers. The 1/8″ headphone out enables you to practice without disturbing the people around you. It also doubles as your main output for use with external amplifiers and speakers. Not just that, this digital piano also has a detachable music rest features a wide, spacious design.Sampling: This digital piano emulates the sounds of the German concert piano which is a Bosendorfer concert grand piano. Metronome: The button for the metronome is on the front panel of the piano and helps with diverse modifications in the settings of the piano. It is possible to change the tempo from 40 to 240 beats per minute. The Yamaha P-45 is part of Yamaha’s P-series (the P stands for Portable) and is Yamaha’s most affordable piano featuring weighted hammer action. The buttons don’t have a lot of travel and don’t protrude much, making them feel less intuitive. The knob feels a bit cheap, with not much resistance, but at least precise volume changes are possible. Metronome. The Metronome button on the front panel turns the metronome on or off and also enables the modification of settings via button key combinations.

FYI – as John suggested, I did try using a few different electrical outlets in the house, all without any other devices with the same result. And this is more like a white noise sound not a ground loop hum sort of sound. I mostly care about realistic key touch, you mentioned you prefer Roland FP10 keys “I also prefer Roland’s keyboard action, as per me it is more “natural”, but then you didn’t had the FP10 on the comparison tables ? You may wonder how it is possible to have 32, 64, or even 128 notes playing at the same time, if there are only 88 keys and we never play them all at once.

If you know anything at all about Korg, you will be aware of their great reputation for producing excellent sounds, and the B2 in no way marries that image. There are 12 really high-quality sounds present, but there aren’t many voices. The piano’s tones impressed us with their clarity and articulation, as well as their pleasing bass end. As we all know, the majority of people only want the piano to sound like, well, a piano, and will never experiment with different sounds. If so, you don’t need to bother about the B2, since it more than meets your piano needs. The license created by this agreement is personal to you and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement without the prior written consent of Korg. a) to Korg at its own expense using all reasonable endeavours to rectify any non-conformance with the warranty by repair (by way of a patch, work around, correction or otherwise) within a reasonable period of time or, The Korg B2 has 12 different sound including 5 Grand Pianos (German, Italian, Classic, Jazz, Ballad), Stage Electric Piano (Wurlitzer-style preset), 60’s Electric Piano (Rhodes-like preset), Digital Electric Piano (DX7-style synthesizer), Harpsichord, Pipe Organ, Electric Organ, Orchestral Strings. Korg lists the B2 as having a maximum 120 voices of polyphony, in line with the other competitors in this price range.
