About this deal

The M35 does worse here than my Dubbblefilm due only to the flash. It is telling the M38 almost doubles the capacitor power. Things like shutter speed and aperture won’t factor in as much as ISO since they’re fixed settings on disposable cameras, with most having an aperture of f/10 and a shutter speed of 1/100s. That means the aperture is at a mid-range to control how much light is let into the fixed lens and the depth of field. The shutter speed is the length of time the shutter is open, affecting brightness and how motion is captured. At 1/100 of a second, disposable cameras have a good middle-of-the-road setting for basic photography.

Beginner photographers might choose disposable cameras as they’re lightweight and easy to travel with, simple to use, and can be discarded after use. If you’re going on a tropical vacation, you may choose to buy an underwater disposable camera for snorkeling if underwater photography is not something you’ll do on a regular basis.

Our "Collect at Store" service lets you add items to your basket and then collect them from a Jessops store: in as little as 30 minutes. The FunSaver uses a 30mm F10 lens. The combination of a wide-angle focal length and an F10 aperture means there's no focusing mechanism at play. The FunSaver is quite literally a point-and-shoot camera. The FunSaver's lens includes a pair of plastic aspherical lens elements, which capture surprisingly sharp images considering that it's a cheap, single-use camera. That's why I bought a Tokina 17mm in 1984 when I had my Pentax ME Super. Then I already considered the supplied 50mm lens having a vey narrow FOV. That one has an FOV matching the naked eye.

Cheap, cheerful and operationally foolproof, the best disposable cameras are perfect for life’s big events. Thanks to their compact and lightweight build, single-use cameras excel in situations where larger, heavier and more expensive digital cameras can prove impractical. This places it as one of the cheapest new cameras you can buy and if you can live with pink even cheaper than some single use cameras. Class rival Let your creative juices flow when shooting with the LomoChrome Purple disposable camera. Known for transforming everyday colors, the photos end up with a trippy, dreamlike effect. Not everything will be purple, but it will give the overall tone a purple hue and enhance other colors when blended. It has a built-in flash and a super cool trio of color gels that can swing over the flash for added effects. A wide-angle, 31mm lens is versatile for capturing anything from cityscapes and landscapes and everything in between. For a unique disposable camera that allows you to tap into your artsy side, this is a solid choice. Waterproof disposable cameras, while usually not designed to handle serious diving depths, are a good shout for poolside and beach holiday snaps. In 1994 I was 26 and was on a business trip to Washington, DC. I’d never been, and because of unforeseen events I had a day to myself. I took the train to the National Mall. But first, I stopped at a drug store and bought a Kodak single-use camera like this one.

One important point. All body caps are not alike. I originally used a non branded one and was disheartened at how the results were exaggeratedly out of focus. The lens of the FunSaver is also exceptional by disposable camera standards. The 30mm f/10 lens found in the FunSaver features two aspherical plastic elements, which helps it achieve a sharpness uncommon in disposables. The lens’ center sharpness is good, while the aberrations and vignetting that occur (quite rampantly) in the corners give a pleasant, casual character akin to those loved by Lomography weirdos. While the images it makes won’t hold a candle to any high falootin’ glass or multi-element lens, the FunSaver delivers a considerably better image than should be expected, even beating some of the cheapest fixed-focus, non-disposable point-and-shoots. I’m guessing they just rounded to nearest stop and to 30mm. Other than the Fascia the camera is the same and your shots are similar to mines in quality. Disposable cameras are popular with tourists and people traveling around the world to save pictures of their adventures. Rather than overwhelm the user with technical tidbits, single-use cameras come with a fixed shutter speed, focal length, and aperture (aka the amount of light the lens lets in which determines how much of the image is in focus). The ISO, which refers to the camera’s sensitivity to light, is determined by the film in the disposable camera you choose; the higher the ISO count, the more light is let in, and the better photos from nighttime or indoor parties will turn out.The disposable camera is the ultimate tool for casual photography. It’s made for non-photographers, vacationers, first-time film shooters, and even experienced shooters looking to simplify their kit. But what’s really remarkable about the disposable camera in the digital age, is its enduring popularity – one can still find a disposable camera in nearly any drug store. The most common of these disposables (at least in the United States) is the Kodak FunSaver, which also happens to be the camera that introduced me to photography. Shot count is a biggie. While the majority of disposable cameras offer 27 shots, you can find models that take up to 39 shots. While these higher-capacity cameras tend to command a higher upfront cost, they’ll usually offer better value overall as most labs charge a flat rate for processing.
