Your baby may have colic if they cry continuously for no specific reason and you are unable to comfort them. Colic most commonly occurs in the late afternoon and evening; your baby will cry out in pain and may draw their knees up to their chest and go red in the face. Their tummy may be swollen or bloated as if they have swallowed a lot of air, and they may pass wind more than usual. It's normal for babies to cry, but if they cry more than 3 hours a day, 3 days a week for at least 1 week, then they may have infant colic.
