Tower frames have a ribbed profile for extra grip and therefore safety. Some towers are built using smaller end frames which means more joins and therefore unwanted movement in use. Avoid these! Braces fitted on the inside of the frame work – reducing the space you have to stand on the platform. Stability equals safety and is not something to take for granted. Also, not to be taken at face value, is that these products come safe to use. In fact, with some DIY tower scaffolds, a lot of the most invaluable safety components are sold separately such as stabilisers, and even full safety kits.
