I’m interested in how a direct-to-consumer product like this will manage to compete against the big brands like Bushnell, when it’s the same price. Great review! But not only that, its revolutionary new faceplate system allows you to truly customize your device – the first time we’ve come across a rangefinder that allows you to do this.

Convenient use: The SmartSwitch allows you to toggle Slope Mode on and off with ease, without having to navigate complicated menus. Plus, the fully adjustable diopter ensures personalized viewing. The rangefinder that is going to be the best fit is going to come down to a few different personal preferences: It’s a mental thing for me. Whether from a range finder, yardage marker, book or course feature, I must know yardage for fairway shots. This looks like a fine upgrade to my current arsenal.Let’s take a closer look at the features that could earn the Cobalt Q-4 Slope a spot in your golf bag. Release Details Slope on/off is one of those things different manufacturers have implemented in different ways, and this little light is one more way of doing something unique from their competition. Very intriguing option in the range finder market. First time I hear about this brand. Looks great. Ok, I hate to admit it but I’m the guy who is always asking their partners for the correct distance to the hole. As a newly retired golf fanatic, I know this beautiful Cobalt Q6 rangefinder will be the envy of my group. I hope to be the one in my senior group who has all the answers! The Cobalt Q6 Slope Rangefinder provides highly accurate distance measurements up to 300 yards with an accuracy of +/- .5 yards.

It’s the spookiest time of year and the latest limited collection of @truelinkswear’s Dead Golfer has dropped just in time! It can be useful to know both slope and non-slope distances, and to get that, you’ll have to flip slope mode on and off. Being a serious golfer myself, I was ecstatic when the opportunity to try a Cobalt rangefinder presented itself. I’d heard about the brand before, but never actually tried out their products. I knew the Cobalt reputation was a lofty one, and I was eager to see if the product lived up to the hype.

I think Bushnell Tour Z6 is one of the best golf range finders… what’s more is that the Bushnell Z6 is among the first golf laser rangefinders from Bushnell to feature the Vivid Display Technology. Its most amazing feature is the fact that it can be used under any lighting condition. It also allows you to adjust the brightness levels of its display. That means you dont have to worry when natural light is not as bright you would want it There's so much to consider while shopping around. Price is often the determining factor, but there's much more to it than that. What color do I want? What size? What features can't I live without? How does it look and feel in my hand? The switch is definitely the most differentiating design element from its competitors, and I honestly have found myself really enjoying it. Slope Functions on the Cobalt Q6 Slope

When slope mode is on, it shows you the slope-adjusted distance in the same spot where it previously gave you the actual yardage. Then right below it tells you what degree of adjustment was necessary.

In this Easygreen OLED Vision Pro laser rangefinder review, Joel Tadman puts it through its paces out on the golf course. Joel Tadman puts the latest Bushnell rangefinder through its paces on the course to see what golfers can expect But for the way I personally like to use a rangefinder (while carrying my clubs, and without slope) it works wonderfully. The Nikon COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED has both extremely accurate slope distances and an advanced optical stabilization system to reduce vibration (up to 80%). Includes an OLED display, IPX4 waterproof, and incredible Nikon optics!

Cobalt Q-4 Slope Rangefinder Review | Golf Monthly

I recently moved so the Cobalt and I got to work very closely together. My new home course although not as hilly (mountainous) as my last one has many dog legs (too many) and accuracy is needed. Both for being in the correct position on the turns on the dog legs and for the small greens. I was warned by the Pro when I joined “Don’t be long into any green” So, getting the correct yardage is a must. So considering it has just one relatively simple task, it’s pretty amazing considering how many different models and price points there are out there. As I mentioned above it has a waterproof rating of IPX7, which means it can withstand water immersion of up to 3 feet for 30 minutes. The Precision Pro NX10 is one of the very best rangefinders we've reviewed, and comes in at a price that makes it a smart choice for just about anyone. In terms of setup and features, that’s really it. The simplicity is absolutely a selling point here. Laser rangefinders are complex pieces of technology but they’re made to accomplish a simple task. For me, it’s nice to know there aren’t a bunch of superfluous features to potentially confuse me when I just want a solid number to the pin. Golf rangefinders are not just for the single-digit handicaps and pros. A rangefinder for golf is more of a necessity than a luxury since the primary piece of information you need before every shot is the distance to your target. And let’s face it: They truly are affordable these days — just don’t get caught up in the unnecessary bells and whistles if you can’t afford them. You can find a new rangefinder for the price of a golf round at most middle- to high-end courses. FAQ What’s the best rangefinder on the market? The Bushnell Pro X3 improves upon it's flagship Pro XE in subtle, but meaningful ways. If you want the best of the best, the X3 is the rangefinder for you. Cobalt calls this the “SmartSwitch” and it’s used to change the illumination in the display and to turn slope mode on and off.
